On les canals tres moderne, il y a un system avec VHF radio where vous can "transmit" to the ecluse to commencer l'operation. Naturellement, votre bateau must have un VHF radio. If so, vous pouvez find something else a twiddler.

We love this although we thought the technical term for the "twizzler" was "dingle-dangle".
LOL, us Brits just aren't as sophisticated as the French, even when we speak their language.
