Hi! I think you would really enjoy Home Free's rendition of How Great Thou Art. The video was filmed in the Austrian Alps and is very beautiful. Home Free is an acapella group.
"Black Betty" is a 20th-century African-American work song often credited to Blues artist: Huddie "Lead Belly" Ledbetter. The origin and meaning of the lyrics are subject to debate. Historically, the "Black Betty" of the title may refer to the nickname given to a number of objects: a bottle of whiskey, a whip, or a penitentiary transfer wagon. However, in more modern song references, the term "Black Betty" alludes to a fast car or motorcycle.
One of the latest covers of this song was by Spiderbait, and they did it proud. But my favorite was featured in the movie Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, in case you're curious.
That's Rock's relation to the Blues for you, right there. Originally a sort of jam by the great Leadbelly (Hudie Leadbetter) then blitzed by this classic hard rock outfit. Sad they didn't have many other hits, but what the H; if this is your legacy track, you've done enough.
