It's clearly the best of the bunch!
Toot Sweets, Toot Sweets
A bonbon to blow on at last, has been found
Toot Sweets, Toot Sweets
The treat that's so tweet-able
Lusciously eatable
With that unbeatable....sound!
There is actually a sweet shop in my village called Truely Scrumptious!!
One of my favorite movies ever
I've been singing this song ever since Dick Van Dyke got the Kennedy Center Honor. This is one of my favorite movies, starring my favorite actor!
Happy 90th birthday Sally Ann Howes!!
Watching this and Oliver at my Nan’s house in VHS everytime I stayed is such a core memory
This scene used to make me desperately crave sweets as a kid 😅
I watched this movie 6 years ago and this song gets stuck in my head every few weeks
The dogs overrun a candy factory.
RIP Sally Ann Howes
(1930-2021).
Love all the flutes!! Trevor Wye, one of the flutists hired, stated that there were 24 of them playing for this scene!!
The liner notes on the CD said folks from other recording studios came to watch the recording with so many flutes, picalos, and recorders.
this movie is a masterpiece.
Had these all over the place when I was little, but toot sweet was definitely a better name. Completely lost on me as a kid though 😂
Jesus how many dogs does this town have!?!?
beats me
Scribble Bee maybe a million
+James Burridge More like about 500, at most.
I have read that they used 100 in filming this scene.
Not enough :3
I had forgotten how much I love this movie.
This was my child hood movie it brings back so many memorys:)
They could never ever make a perfect film like this again it's irreplaceable no one could be another Dick Van Dyke actor
Ok this is weird because I was singing this whilst cleaning my shower and now, three days later, it’s on my reccomended.
