Hi everyone, I finally sold my big fat pigs. After months of stagnation, traders did not buy. Pigs are getting fatter. I have to use 2 scales to weigh a pig. Thank you to everyone who has always supported and worried about our hard-to-sell pigs. Although I sold pigs for cheap. But I'm glad I sold the pigs. I don't have to pay the cost of pig feed anymore. Wishing everyone a happy new year with good health and happiness in life. I sold 10 pigs. Total weight is 1,600kg x 48,000 = 78.8 million Vietnam Dong, equal to 3. 270.17 US dollars. At this price, I only have enough money to buy food, but also lose money to buy piglets.
Happy for you that finally sold all the over grown pigs, cut down the feeding cost, recoup the investment and make room for growing litters. Lucky for two orphaned pigs that have three adoptive mothers, Chit, Mich Ky and you help to raise them.

Dont listen to the criticism. You want big healthy fat pigs. There is more to eat. Lol. If you have pigs that are skinny, they are probably not healthy and there is hardly no meat. Those critics are silly!!

Me saying sorry about you loosing money on the sale of your pigs, won't help you much but at least you got rid of the 10 biggest ones. The using of two scales is no good for you. Get a scale that can handle 170 Kg. Slow down the weight gain of the pigs, less commercial feed and more green leaves, if they are hungry they will eat. Thank you for sharing. Very low price but large pigs. Not too happy the way weight was calculated, but sold and some positive funds to farm, no longer such a high daily cost of feeding. Funds can be used to buy new breeding sow as I don't have much faith in the sow who lost her piglets. Such is life with livestock. Trader should have given you a better price as the large pigs were very well behaved. Flowers are back and beautiful. Very best wishes for 2023.

It's a bit cheap per kg, here in the Philippines it's 150 pesos/kg
