Main objective is to make it have power steering, as it did when it came from the factory. Sounds like you are going to succeed. The owner will be pleased with that. Take care and I'll see you later.

Ross flip that compression sleeve over. Large end stays in the nut, smaller diameter bites into the tube

Getting all the correct parts is a challenge for me. I have several projects that I'm working on and it seems like everyone has a few parts needed and I have to wait multiple days for those to come in. I like what you're doing with the John Deere 1020 of your friend, he will be pleased with the outcome, I know I would. Thanks for the enjoyable entertainment. I hope you have a great day!

    Good job Mr. Ross!
That 9650 job, when do you think you will be able to get to it? Your going to need that tractor in the spring unless you plan on using you four wheel drive Whites.

You probably have it all finished by now, but i think i would have taken the time to check that other return passage so i had to make less mods

Was a foot throttle an option on that tractor? They are handy especially using a loader.

Could you run your return in to the return for the loader

could you plumb the return into the plug below the cover?

You might have to have a pressure control valve to reduce the pressure going to the steering unit. Too much pressure would make it way to sensitive and play havoc on seals in the unit. Buy your parts now as they are going to go up 25% quickly. Mother Deere will increase all parts as it will make more profit on already overpriced parts they have in their parts bins.
