Hello Michael, that was so nice to give them a ride on the golf cart so they will understand how much nicer the electric golf cart is. I always love your videos because they have very beautiful scenery and are very informatived. I always learn something new on every video and yes that is a big gator! Thanks for taking us along for the ride, I truly enjoyed it.
Wow that gator was following you when you got out of your golf cart to go see the other one. I love the idea of being near water but that would be scary to live near a pond or lake knowing how many gators live in there. Fantastic video as usual. Thank you for sharing.
I love it when gators follow us. So fun to watch them. We go to ponds often, especially a big one that’s next to the Hogeye Path, just to find gators to see if they’ll follow us, lol. As long as they’re in the water, and we’re on shore, it’s all good. 🐊😜
Just a heads up the Village you called Marsh Bend was actually Monarch Grove. Marsh Bend is where Edna’s on the Green is located, and it connects to my Village of DeLuna. Fun ride! Wish we could get that golf cart, but having just bought the Atomic Cool Kart in March as our 2nd cart, it’s not going to happen anytime soon. 😆
Awesomeness! Thanks for the clarification! So many Village names and Road names that start with the letter “M” here at TV! Won’t be the last time I say the wrong name. 🤣 Glad you enjoyed the ride along. Have an awesome weekend!
I agree- The Village of Fenney is beautiful!! I am so happy that we can get there by golf cart now from St. Catherine's. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Another Awesome video Michael. Love how you point out major points of interest on your ride. I also love the village of Fenney. But I will probably buy new when I get there in 2025. Looking forward to your next video. Hoping Tiffany can join you soon. Thanks. Cindy
Loved this video! Mick and I went to the Fenney Grill and Edna's while we were there the week of the 5th! We loved the gators clip and your test ride for your viewers! That was awesome! Have you felt like the 4-seat front-facing golf is too long when trying to park it! I am hoping we can get back down there in October! Thank you for the video!❤
Thank you. I’m a snow flake (back in TN now) and still working but was there at that store doing the same last week and didn’t know it was gc accessible. Fantastic. Sadly I guess the Dunkin’ across the street isn’t yet, though probably good for my health….thanks for that info! If you are so inclined on your trips I would be curious to learn about your range figures after each trip. I’m also super curious about your Tesla experience too. Thanks again and keep up the great work! Cheers.
Glad we could help! Hopefully they will have cart access to Dunkin’ someday! FYI… There are a lot of Teslas in TV. They have a Tesla club too that we will check out in the fall. Thanks!
Great video Michael. I had no idea you could get to that UPS store area by cart. The Fenney rec center is one of my favorite places to sit on the porch and read or have lunch. Very nice of you to give those folks a ride in your cart. 😀
Hey Mike, love your UA-cam channel! We have had our D5 Ranger 4 for a year and here is a tip when using the seat belts to be more comfortable and the top of the belt doesn't hit your neck is to use the Tiffany's seat belt and she uses your seat belt. I know it sounds crazy, but it is so much more comfortable, and the belt still works as designed but so dang tight. We also use seat belt pads too. We had ours tuned as well where it runs 32mph, I installed the BA Carts Soundbar Boostbox.
Thanks so much! So glad you are enjoying our videos. Will try out your suggestion with the seatbelts. Wow 32 mph and boosted sound system. Awesomeness! 👍
This is another awesome video. I enjoy your interactions with people you meet along the way with your travels. Those gators can stay in the water, though.
Michael, you have no idea how fast I googled “ how fast can an alligator run” when you got out of that golf cart. I literally thought “TIFFANYYYYY… He’s out of the golf cart trying to get closer to the alligators… He’s out of the golf cart, trying to get closer to the alligators… TIFFANYYY”!!!!!😂~ Becky
Too funny! 🤣 I have a healthy respect for Gators 🐊 but don’t fear them (as long as they or I don’t get too close). Always have my head on a swivel anytime we are near water. Have an awesome weekend! Thanks!
Thanks for the great tour! We also purchased a home in the Lake Denham Village but only have been down from Iowa a couple times. Is there a way that when your traveling you can kinda give how long it takes to get from place to place on your cart? Thanks again!! All your knowlede is really helping us to some what have a clue on how to get places!
Thanks for showing us how to get to the UPS store! We are newer to TV and unsure if we can get out that way. We can't get across the street to Dunkin via golf cart, though, correct?
Glad you enjoyed it! Not that we know of. You could park your golf car at UPS and walk across the street! 🤔💡 just got an idea for a future video. Thanks!
None that I know of. The only flooding we saw was golf courses and a few tunnels. Better to flood the golf courses and not the homes. Everything drained away pretty quickly.
Nice drive and video. Do the people next to the pond with the gators have to worry about them coming up to their yard? Did it take you a long time to figure out your way around all those golf cart paths?
Long but fun drive by golf car! We have another UPS store next to a Publix in Leesburg (about 4 miles and 10 minutes by car) that we go to as well. But then you have to deal with traffic and a very crowded parking lot. Plus can’t drive the golf car to that one.
You are such a kind person, I bet they loved that cart ride. Question: are there cart chargers around town? Do these use the same chargers as EV / Tesla cars?
Thank you so much! They were very nice. No public chargers for EV golf carts or Teslas in TV. We just charge ours up in our garage at home. Never worry about running out of range. Here is a link to our video on that subject. Hope it helps! ua-cam.com/video/wBWJRqEoUwU/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Nice ride Michael. But, what's up with the skateboarder; accident waiting to happen. After viewing so many YT videos, I've often wondered and decided to inquire. It always seems on the videos that when you exit a tunnel, the light is Blindingly Bright. Is that the case, or does it just appear that way on the video? The way some folks seem to navigate this area would seem to be a bit dangerous if that is really so. Thanks again for a great video. Tiffany would be so proud of how well you pull this off on your own when she's gone!
Thank you! Such a great job explaining the advantages of that golf cart. Lithium electric, well-designed with four seats facing forward, great-looking. I love The Villages Golf Cars (the business) and hope for them to embrace these. I suspect the margins aren't quite as good but it seems like they might be missing out here.
Absolutely! We think it is the best value to features to comfort ratio we could find on the market today. Will do some more update videos about range, charging times and costs. Thanks!
So I was originally worried about fitting an Evolution D5 Ranger golf cart through the short B4 and B7 tunnels near our home... but ha ha that wasn't my problem! My garage clearance is even shorter than those tunnels! Our villa up here is 25 years old. We love it up here, but we'll be in a Yamaha golf cart. Ordered it this week!
A question about golf carts in general and about EV golf carts in particular . . . The sunroof protects the passengers in light rain showers, and the sideroll plastic ziplock 'windows' offer fuller protection in downpours. But how much protection does the cart itself need? Can it be left outside in (light or heavy) rain without the sunroof in place and/or without plastic windows to cover the flanks? Are these things weatherproof like a motorcycle or a tractor or a lawnmower? Thanks, Robert
What are the benefits of owning a golf cart? It seems it is quicker to drive a car than a golf cart. I realize you are saving money on gas by using an electric golf cart, but your also paying $10,000 to buy it. So are you really saving money? Why would they build a Putt Putt ⛳️ course that cars can not drive to?
That's a great question. I was thinking those parking spots looked like they're only for carts. You don't really need a golf cart but there are places in the villages you can't go in a car. One of them of course, is on an actual golf course. Another is sunset park at Lake Sumter Landing.
Many couples have one car and one or two carts. Insurance, gas, and maintenance are way cheaper for carts. For aged folks most likely safer too. I met a gentleman who lost their license due to a disability but was able to maintain work at the publix using the cart.
@4:00, which do you have, the Ranger or the Maverick? Would you mind a quick compare/contrast that led to you choosing the one you did? @26:25, dig the guy coming down the bridge on his skateboard. Epitome of Toby Keith's "Don't let the old man in."
We have the D5 Ranger. Good suggestion for a future video. The main reason we did not get the Maverick is because it is actually taller. Love ❤️ Toby Keith (R.I.P.) Awesome song. Full lyrics and link to video below for anyone interested. Don't let the old man in I wanna leave this alone Can't leave it up to him He's knocking on my door And I knew all of my life That someday it would end Get up and go outside Don't let the old man in Many moons I have lived My body's weathered and worn Ask yourself how old would you be If you didn't know the day you were born Try to love on your wife And stay close to your friends Toast each sundown with wine Don't let the old man in Many moons I have lived My body's weathered and worn Ask yourself how old would you be If you didn't know the day you were born When he rides up on his horse And you feel that cold bitter wind Look out your window and smile Don't let the old man in Look out your window and smile Don't let the old man in ua-cam.com/video/yc5AWImplfE/v-deo.htmlsi=jt5If2AdKHJ7Sntp
Thank you for the adventure. We maybe down sooner than later. We have accepted an offer on our home and in pending status.😀
That’s awesome! Congratulations and good luck! Keep us posted! Thanks!
Congratulations! How exciting! I want to move there so bad. Just waiting for the time to be right.

We stayed in Collier for a month in October. First time in TV. Wow we were lucky to have everything so close. Can’t get over how it has grown.
Awesomeness! Hope you had a great visit! TV is growing so much! Hard to keep up with everything. Thanks!

What a great path you showed us to UPS Store. Definitely we must try it out soon!! Thanks Michael!! Also big ole gators too!! Wowsers‼️
We just discovered that path recently. Fun way to get to UPS! That one Gator 🐊 was Ginormous! Camera did not do him justice. Thanks!
Hello Michael, your video is great with the two views. Being able to see your face and your travel view. Thanks for sharing. Greg from WNY!

Morning Michael Actually it does not take hours and hours and hours to load the mailboxes. They actually do it in about 2 hours or so
Hour and hour then! 🤣 👍 They usually get it done in 2 hours or so but…. I have seen their car there close to 4 hours before.

They were very active today! Definitely did not get too close to the water or those bushes. 👍🐊
Just how fast does your cart go, seems like you’re flying……
I think the POV camera makes it look that way. 10 to 20 mph. We have been passed by other carts and even the guy who rides his electric skateboard. 🤣

Don't let the old man in
I wanna leave this alone
Can't leave it up to him
He's knocking on my door
And I knew all of my life
That someday it would end
Get up and go outside
Don't let the old man in
Many moons I have lived
My body's weathered and worn
Ask yourself how old would you be
If you didn't know the day you were born
Try to love on your wife
And stay close to your friends
Toast each sundown with wine
Don't let the old man in
Many moons I have lived
My body's weathered and worn
Ask yourself how old would you be
If you didn't know the day you were born
When he rides up on his horse
And you feel that cold bitter wind
Look out your window and smile
Don't let the old man in
Look out your window and smile
Don't let the old man in
