Hello! The Kish is gorgeous. I put in at Baumann Park in Cherry Valley and take out at Larry’s Landing in Atwood Park. This section of river is about 8 miles, takes anywhere from 3-4 hours. I dropped my truck off at Atwood Park and my dad brought me out to Cherry Valley. There are parking lots at both locations😀🛶Happy paddling!
How do you like the folding kayak? I've been interested in one for a while, just not sure if I'd like it better than a regular kayak. My main draw is the portability - I don't have roof racks on my car.
Hello! I love it. I’ve used it on a lake and a calm river and it worked great both times. Once you get the hang of folding/unfolding it😀I can fold it up in about 5 minutes now. As far as quality, it’s great. Customer service is very responsive as well if you have any issues or questions. As far as portability, it only weighs 28 pounds and it would fit in the trunk of a car when it’s folded up. You could also probably fit it in the backseat of a car. That was one of the main draws for me because I don’t have roof racks either and I wanted to be able to go kayaking by myself and not have to depend on another person to help me get it on and off the car. Hope this helps! I’m going to do a full review of the Tucktec kayak in the spring or summer😀
Super video .....i love you
Thank you!
Water looked calm, but the buddy system is best for saftey reasons. Lots of birds. How long was the trip?
It took about 4 hours, including the stop to cool lunch :)
I have wanted to paddle the Kish. Where do you suggest to put in and take out? How did you get back to your put in point? Nice video. Thank you.
