I love these! Even more than my WOW 10’s. Both great shoes, but the traction, heel-to-toe transition, fit, and interchangeable cushion system just keeps these in my bag at all times.
I have two pairs of the original Player 1, no problems at all and a phenomenal performer. Bought the first colorway available for the Player 1 Plus and right when I laced up one of the eyelets broke, making it impossible to play in that shoe. Immediately went through the return process and it’s been over 2 weeks since getting any feedback about a replacement or response to the issue I had with my pair. I’m still a fan of the brand, but this has been a weird problem I’ve experienced so far. Excited for the new Support midsole though!
I took out my react insole from the Nike bb nxt and placed it under the drop-in & it feels way better than the Kobe 8/11 (only ones I’ve used) & it smoothens out that clunky feeling too simultaneously👍🏽

Son of flash is better V2 was just a upgrade of materials and lacing system but I’ve never heard anything bad about the son of flash ig big difference would be cushion for you
I got the All Black one, this shoe feels very light on feet, Traction is amazing & very durable, great for both indoor & outdoor use, Cushioning feels low to the ground, responsive with slight bounce, I worn US 11 for most Nike basketball shoes & went US 11.5, it fits like a glove, just go half size up like how they recommended, Materials & Support are solid, no heel slippage whatsoever, overall it’s a great basketball shoe, one of the best Alternative for Kobe’s currently beside the 808 3 (regular or Ultra)
Own both these and the WOW 10’s, the 10’s are better overall but also a lil pricier. I have narrow feet and med/high arches, I also am 5’11 and 185 lbs so obviously this may not be the same for everyone
I know you did the protype of the lebron 21 but the official shoes are coming out on Sept 28 I wonder if you going to review from what read on Nike website looks like the made some changes.

I wore true to size and fits perfect. Just go true to size if you are normal to semi wide. Wide and above go half to full size up

Id say SPO player 1 plus for weight and being a interchangeable drop in with the 808 3 is nicer drop in but once it bottoms out it’s done for
