I went to the theatres to watch Argyle and spent the entire thing trying not to point out every single plot whole. THE MAIN PLOT HAS A PLOT HOLE! She was supposedly pointing out the future in her books only for it to turn out that she was writing her memories. The way you said deux was both funny and horrific.
The only problem with Despicable Me 4 was what Illumination did to Gru and Maxime Le Mal's character/villain arc. I mean it was promising in the beginning of the movie, but since when does Gru go from punching sharks to getting scared of a tennis ball? Why's Maxime's goal to capture Gru's son?! That was bad, everything else was fine. But when it comes to the worst movies: Megamind 2 obviously Garfield (not that much) Madame Web just already sounds like complete trash

Man, 2024 was crazy. To think that 10 years ago, in 2014, we got cinematic masterpieces like The LEGO Movie, Hunger Games 3, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Night At The Museum 3, Winter Soldier, Guardians Of The Galaxy, and more, but 10 years later to present time, most of the stuff we got is just cash grab garbage.
2024 we got masterpieces like the wild robot, transformers one, sonic 3, wicked, long legs, and others I'm sure there is more like flow. Just finished watching the hunger games series and the 3 is my favorite I think it's the funniest one even tho there is not much happening on it
My top five worst movies of the year 1: Ryan’s world the movie titan universe adventure this movie was just a cash grab and it has some of the worst acting I ever seen and it has lazy writing 2: joker 2 this fells like a filler movie and it had a bad ending and it kill my favorite joker 3: Megamind vs the doom syndicate it’s corny and it had bad writing and animation is just lazy 4: Imaginary this has unnecessary jump scares and it’s plot is just bad 5: Despicable me 4 it felt rushed and boring and the fact that the characters not age is just so bad and the mega minions were forgettable

OK, I might be ranting, but I could finish Despicable Me four I could finish Madame Webb, but I couldn’t finish mean girls for the first time ever I walked out stayed in the bathroom and then my friend texted me saying the credits are rolling time to go. that was the first movie I had to walk out on.
i liked how they did Joker 2 and the musical element. It’s the concept of music getting into Arthur Flecks mind and bringing out the Joker. It was about Harley Quinn’s manipulation of Arthur. The message of the film that I took from is That the mentally challenged people in society can be manipulated by those who they love and will follow them blind to do the most insane of things. I personally enjoyed Joker 2 but I can see why you didn’t like it :)

Netflix movies don't count. Lists should be centered on THEATRICAL movies only. Real movies... boring to have lists like this just dominated by Netflix TV movies (or other streaming movies). Streaming is the new "straight to video" and we never used to count straight-to-video titles on these lists back in the day.
