So glad I found this video! I started the show back when it premiered in 2015 and I love it so much! I was behind on the books though and just finished Jeremy Poldark and I am hoping to read books 4-7 and finish rewatching past seasons before season 4 premieres here in the US in 2 weeks! I've heard that season 5 will likely be the last season sadly but I was wondering if anyone knows how many of the last 5 books will be adapted? I'm wondering if it will just be book 8 or books 8 &9. I hope they can fit as much of the plot points of the last 5 books in as possible.
I haven't read any of these books or (don't hate me lol) seen NY of the TV programmes. I'm not sure they are something I would enjoy. But your obvious love for this series has definitely piqued my interest. Xx

I just wanna know what its about...All iknow is stuff about the characters and nothing else...Wts the plot? I mean....Is it a love story, an adventure story?. Whats up with the poldark dude??? Whats his drive whats this saga about?? Thats what i need to know b 4 i delve in....I need someone to explain it to me like you would if u were trying to get someone into it and your life depends on it lol

Reading book 8 right now and find it a total bore - way way too much in depth political talk and boring difficult chapters re smuggling and ships plus there was zero character development as to the children and main characters are not even mentioned. Pity as I really enjoyed the previous books…
It's a shame the new series was poorly cast and the obnoxious ego of the writer thought they'd create their own stupid story instead of following the source material. It's hard to find a copy that doesn't have Aiden Turners stupid face on the cover, I like to imagine most of the characters as those from the 70's series.
