    Even though I still prefer the 570, the 450 is all the bike anyone really needs!

      Probably true. Unless you happen to "need" to go in deep mud. It will do it, but if its thick enough it's pretty hard going.

      @@greatwhitenorthlife2327 but it would be a good challenge though especially for my 1st quad bike! My dream quad is the 570 but its gonna take me 3 years if Im going brand new for a 570 xmr or max xt!

    How’s the side shifter been working for constantly going forward and reverse for plowing? Looks like you hit neutral a couple of times.

    Hard on the winch and battery. Need to keep it in the garage like he does

    Wow it doesn’t even snow where I live, but I’m still impressed and going to get this model over a Honda

    Seems to be doing fine with the amount of snow. Would you get the 450 again?

      She’s a beast. In all honesty though, I’d spend the extra $800 and buy the 570

      @@Canyaoutty1111 The 570 is quite a bit more machine then the 450 for not much more money. The 850 and 1000 get pricey fast, and IMO are a hell of a lot of power, that seems unnecessary (at least for my perposes).

    I don't think he is on pavement too, that makes it even harder. I have a 450 Outlander Max and I bought it for plowing. I has the plastic Can Am plow, works great. Hitches and unhitches very easily. The winch pulls it up and it just snaps into place.

    First few seconds of this video should be sent to can am, people complain about there clutch engagement jerkiness. That was a prime example when you don’t want it to jerk. My CFMOTO aka outlander clone does the same kind of thing and when plowing it can get a little annoying for sure. But gets the job done, nice 450. I don’t personally like the L body I’d rather it was the full size body but it does have a sporty feel and gets the job done!

      Totally agree!!! If I did it all over again (and I will), I'm going to get the 850. Super happy with this though!

    What snow plow are you using and did the mount come with it?

    How come the ATV stalled in reverse at the start of the video

    • @Canyaoutty1111

      Ask Can Am. Apparently it's because of California emissions and they have to run lean

    • @Weatherby406
      @Weatherby406 3 роки тому

      Probably the battery getting drained from the winch. Have had a few atvs do that same thing from different brands.

    Get a snowblower! I would never use my atv for plowing, such a waste of time

      Canya Outty I always laugh at the guys in my neighborhood trying to plow with ATV’s it takes so long and makes such a mess...and I’m done in 5 mins with the snowblower

    • @michael9016
      @michael9016 3 роки тому +1

      I'll agree. When there is a lot of snow an atv be tough verses a snowblower. Where it's nice is when there is only a few inches to move, then the blade is best because using a snowblower on a few inches seems silly. The atv will be much faster then. If im getting a lot of snow I'll go out a few times to keep to workload down. I live in central Wisconsin.

      Most people also use their plow for more than just pushing snow. Go try and level a trail or spread loam with your snowblower. For sure you may be done faster when you have a foot of snow, but how many times a year does that happen? Most snow falls accumulate 6" inches or less. I'd be inside watching football and laughing at all the guys still with half a driveway left to do.

    • @KTPGNS1
      @KTPGNS1 6 місяців тому

      To each their own I guess. You must have like 6 square feet to do to be done in 5 minutes

    I'll never buy a Outlander that has snow plowed... Seems hard on the engine..

      Well a cvt trans works much different than a geared trans in say a honda. But this guy is doing it right using low gear. I'm actually really impressed that he was able to push it that deep, looks like about 7 or 8 inches.

    • @CodyJohnstonbaugh
      @CodyJohnstonbaugh 5 років тому +6

      Are you serious? He's putting less stress on that engine than most people would while on the trail. It has plenty of power for it too from the looks of it.

      In low range she can push or pull. I ran a big lawn aerator behind mine and it hardly labored at all.
