  • Traveled back to Manetto Hills Park to check out the 2 newest trails. They are short but sweet. I hope there is more to come because Manetto is becoming a fun spot and getting a lot more popular as of late.
    Please take a minute to subscribe to my channel, it would mean a lot to me.

    It's a nice addition, I'll hopefully pop out there before I move down South soon. Keep up the great work!

      Yes, they are very short trails but Manetto is getting better and better.

    As a Long Island MTB it is cool to see good videos of the local trails. I ride a 26 inch hardtail and am looking towards my next new bike.. considering a fat bike. I know they can do more as far as sand and snow, but what do you lose when going from a traditional trail hardtail to a fat bike? Do you ever wish you were on a regular trail bike instead? Just looking for your experience/perspective. Thanks!

      Thanks for the comment. You lose some comfort with a rigid fatbike but I really think that is the only downside. It's very fun, confidence inspiring and can be made just as lightweight.

    Cool vid! Is there a preferred place where you buy your bikes from?
    Im thinking about upgrading and hitting the trails this winter when I do less road biking.

      How has the stock been on the fat tire mountain bikes? Has bikes been slim pickins for the last 5 or so months?

      The Cranemeister you fly on that thing

      The Cranemeister would you still recommend the 9.8’? Any other fat bikes peak your interest?

    • @TheCranemeister
      @TheCranemeister  4 роки тому +1

      They don't make the 9.8 anymore. I love it but I'm gonna go back to the 9.6 when I can for the smoother ride. The carbon wheels just beat me up too much. If giant made a carbon Yukon I would definitely give it a try but I'm not willing to go back to an alloy frame.

      The Cranemeister maybe add a mastadon up front and some renthal fat bars.

    Crainemeister / two questions are you getting the new 9.6? Looks unbelievable in blue - give me your top 2 places must ride on Long Island.
