Dear Ella , commenting again, as once again your recipe was a hit , since my pastries were not as long I made two of these and like a small empanada with the remaining dough and filling 😁😁. My son loved it 😅. I have tried many of your recipes so far and once again always fail proof. You are one of my favorite online teachers . ❤ I just finished making this for the first time🎉😅… I have never made anything like this before. It actually came out not to bad for the first time. Flavor was wonderful… presentation was ok but heck I’ll get better with more practice… my husband said I will get a lot of practice he loves this.❤😊

You can definitely make your own puff pastry, you can see my quick recipe here (video included): www.homecookingadventure.com/rough-puff-pastry/. I was in doubt if I should show you the original dough recipe for the strudel or use the simple and quick option with the puff pastry. The idea is that the strudel dough can be quite intimidating, having to roll it very thin without breaking it . For some this might be a reason for never trying this recipe, which would be a shame. It is really flavorful and worth making it every time in the apple season.

You can join the puff pastries by pinching the side together to make a large sheet
