- Dinara Kasko is an architect turned pastry chef.

Dinara started using the 3D technique two years ago. She is now known all around the world for it.

Man, seeing things like this make me really look forward to 3D printers. :O
What do you mean?
That I look forward to trying them out in the future...?
brownsdragon print a hole if you know what i mean
brownsdragon o
jojo n n n n n n n n n n n is it that video?
so basically she 3D prints a model, then makes a silicone mold, the bakes the cake in the mold? or is this a food 3D printer?
she 3D prints a model, then makes a silicone mold, the bakes the cake in the mold.
The cake isnt baked in the molds. The molds are used for the final layer of mousse. These are entremets. There are multiple layers constructed inside, but the actual cake is not baked in the mold, rather a layer is set into the mold filled with mousse.
what i meant except i copy pasted the question as a reply in my lazy state
GG is just a silicone mold, she dont bake in it, is just a mousse with gelatine which she freeze. Is so ething came out 6years ago
The cake wasn't made with a 3D printer, the mold was. It's no different than any other kind of cake whether it be round, square or bundt.
Wow
Yes but in the future 3D printers will be used in cooking for making food ( non molds I’m taking about food being printed with the ingredients of your choice )
The genius here is the design, the cake is designed in 3D modelling softwares with architectural design methods, the concept and development of the aesthetic of the cake is the primary point of the project, the taste is secondary, since it is relatively easy to perform.
How about the taste? hope it tastes good, afterall i believe that's the real essence of cooking/baking
Tastes however you want it to taste... those are just the moulds.
It tastes good because I’m sure she put tasty ingredients in her printer
bro she will be a great cook too, for which she is said to be a chef.
Lol i thought it printed the cake
Sadly it just prints the mold :(
//potatoe gal// 05 sad
At least you dont have to wait again lol
You might not believe this but there is a new innovation that could change the kitchen forever it’s a 3D printer that you fill with the ingredients you like then it makes it for you with your ingredients and lasers
@@Ryanbros That's not how 3d printers work buddy
@@doda5510 with new 3d printer Tech they are printing foods and heating with lasers it’s really just the future
Wouldn't it be cool if you could 3D print all the food straight out of UA-cam? The ink tanks would be expensive, though 😂
Mary Glinoga omg yes like literally all of the food insider post 😂😋
Best use of 3d printing
0:39 hurts how she used so much infill just to make a mold out of this. Could have saved time and money by using 5% infill
Ikr what a waste.
Give me that filament .
can I customize my own boyfriend now?
Taehyung's Gucci Bag yess they will make us our own bts😍😍😍😍

can u pls share the software name?
9th because despite this being posted literally 700 years ago there's only 8 comments? Well, 9 now but still
*the mold was created by the print not the cake itself
GENIIIIUSSS
Actually there are people who are trying to print food, professors are testing it in different countries.. Unfortunately the items do not have as much living cells as normal food has. In belgium they made gummy bears that taste like lettuce. Where lettuce has 100 million living cells per millimetre those 3d printed lettuce 'only' contain 1 million living cells per millimetre. You can find papers about it on the internet and 3d printing food. This way they could make food for people in hospitals that have a hard time eating or 3d print medicines
Now you can get molds of that on ebay. And I did.
The achievement here isn't baking the cake at all, the design is made from scratch, the 3D printed molds are all designed by one single person with architectural methods, the concept and form of the 3D molds is what takes the most time, then configuring a taste that matches the aesthetic of cake, its a form of art thats relatively underappreciated
hasn't insider done a video on this??
what does it taste like though??
it makes moulds not actual desserts so fine?
Cake
It tastes fine like a normal cake because it’s a mold but a college is working on a 3D printer that prints foods with different taste cartridges and I’m excited
Could get similar shapes with a 3,4, or 5-axis router, starting with a cake from a standard tin, but then you'd not get the crust on the outside of the shape.
She 3d printed a model, then made a silicone mold from that. She could have made a mold with real fruits but it would not have been as effective at grabbing attention. The other cake was topped with cnc cut sheets. Also not 3d printed. I'm not saying her work is not impressive. It is very impressive, but it gained a lot more attention by getting on the 3d printer bandwagon. It gives people the illusion that they can do it too, just by buying a 3d printer. There is no substitute for actual skills
Interesting! Is it super expensive?? Is it delicious??
Genius
so cakes were 2d all the time?
Which place is this??

Great from a graphic design artist standpoint, but not necessarily from a culinary or nutritional one.

I prefer the care and delicasy and homey feeling from handmade cakes...its like you can feel the bakers soul...I wouldn't like these.
Shae Taylor you’re dumb, this doesn’t print the damn food, she’s an architect who thought of unique molds (cake makers use molds already this isn’t any different) the molds are 3D printed. Come on, didn’t you watch the video?
JESUS audio mixing at 1:00 is awful...
It’s fine

I wasn't mesmerized. I am sure it appeals to vain people who don't know whether they should order 3d bacon suit, or 3d cake.
