Omg I was super shocked when I parked the car at my destination one day, and realised I couldn’t end my trip right there and then… I literally paid parking for the entire day and had to drive it back to where I picked the car up from… definitely not a feasible usage for driving on the go.
Yup its an A to A solution. BlueSG might be what you are looking for. You may return at any of their stations...
@@AMinWithBao but bluesg charges by the minute… $40 in an hour’s drive? No thanks ahahahaha. Car sharing is a cool idea, the $$$… not so. This concept industry will never take off if they are not willing to remodel their pricing.
@@Gunbardo are their prices so jacked now? I dont recall paying that much. At that point ordering a grab would be way cheaper
Hi Clarence, thanks a lot for sharing, had cleared many of my doubts after viewing your video and can see that you are perspiring, Thanks . But I still have few questions as below :
1) regarding the cash card , can we use the Net flash card instead ?
2) can we return the car earlier or extend the usage if needed?
3) Topping up of petrol must it be in Esso as the card provided is “Esso “ card.

1) NETS Flashpay would work! I used it.
2) if you return the car earlier, there would be no refunds. There is a grace period of 10m. Beyond that you would be charged in 15m blocks. If someone made a booking and you are late, you will be charged $50 an hour.make sure to book the duration you require!
3) Esso is not a must. But if you use other petrol companies, I believe you need to pay first. Then GetGo will reimburse you after.

For the first exit from the car park, did u pay out of your own pocket? I was wondering what happens if the car was parked there for a few days and you were the first one to pick it up after that. Does that mean you have to fork out that few days worth of parking with your own cash card?
No payment nor cashcard is required from that carpark. GetGo has season parking. They'll auto detect the IU and let you pass without any payment. Cheers!

Do I need to take photos of the car before and after use? Also how Getgo know the mileage been used?
U dont need to for GetGo but u could - just for your own record purposes. Mileage if im not wtong they track it by GPS..

It's an A to A service. You need to return to same carpark lot. If you are looking for A to B service can explore BLUESG!
let's say i want to go to a mall, do I have to pay the parking fee there myself or their season parking will cover it?

I paid $76 from 10.15am to 12.11pm. First time renting, very bad experience.

That's right! Just press on the brakes and start engine Button like what I did here.

Nope. Last I rode on one, they aren't provided.
May I ask how do u extend the rental time?
Based on memory - In the app go to your booking. There is some time extension function. Cheers!

Well just try signing up and you'll find out. You can rent a car with GetGo if you: Have a valid driving license. Are aged 19-24 with 1 year of driving experience. Are 25 years old or older with a P-plate licence.

There is front camera. Didn't notice the back. Maybe u can walk to one and check, or check in with their customer service?

Inclusive in the price of rental and mileage! If it drops below 25%, u wil need to use the included in car Esso fuel card to refuel before returning. The cost is paid by getgo

If in carpark u rented from, its covered by season parking. All others, u'll pay. Just insert ur cashcard into the IU.

Yup. Local licence is required for driving any motor vehicle in Singapore
Encountered bad customer service. They just ignore your chat questions. Experience recently with the Bluetooth unable to connect to the car and unable to lock and end the rental after return. Customer service only tells you to restart the app and restart the Bluetooth, even all this fail they will stop talking to you over the chat. Really bad customer service practise if they fail to solve problems.
Hopefully it is customer service officer specific. Do try to leave a feedback for their followup I suppose?
getgo fails to pay season parking always. when you take the car you will stuck at gantry if you do not have cash card or flash pay with sufficient amount to clear their parking fee. Horrible experience. Either you stuck at gantry and hear the drivers behind honking at you, you suffer stress due to their management problem. and if you pay for them first, you have to fill their form state all details then can claim back. what shit is that., lousy getgo getting worse. feedback few times same problems.and 50% of the cars can be faulty. i have evidence. u drive straight suddenly the car can stop by itself. the break can be faulty ill function, dangerous to drive. my advice to getgo better improve your service and not risk consumers (driver) life, and the rest better siam= avoid far far when u see getgo car near you.
Haha didn't experience that personally. But won't be surprised. They hire gig workers to do the simple maintenance.
