Left out the risk of exorbitant and unreasonably extensive fines incurred when the car you used is found with a minor scratch or dent by the next user, regardless of whether it was caused by you or not.

Nice.. in Malaysia some people can't afford house because most of their money spent on car.. insurance, road tax, car repair, petrol, installment, car maintenance.. 💸

I used to drive it but then they kept over charging me. Not worth it over uber unless you get one of the vans and have to move things.

The cars for getgo are filthy. Roaches everywhere, previous driver leaving trash in it. Maintenance is bad, I once drove a get go where the door does not lock even when i lock using the app. I will need to manually lock it.
Not only getgo, I've tried Tribecar and blue sg. They all filthy

You are not sharing a car, you are simply renting it.

Mainly the difference I think is that the locations are move convenient compared to traditional rental companies, which you have to specially make your way to their office to collect it and return.

Cars are filthy and poorly maintained. The connection to car often does not work, especially when you are in an underground carpark.

A COE rebate should be given to achieve 30% of car population. Just give back enough rebate to achieve this target.

you talk about pros what about the cons?
you forget a major con of carsharing vs taxis/private hire.
just 1 accident is enough to cover 50-100 taxi/private hire rides

Just return the pink ic to ica when you have enough in Singapore. Cars and houses are cheap outside of Singapore. If you have the skills this world need you can thrive anywhere instead of living a compromised life in Singapore.

Even car must be share by now. What's the point of living and what is to come next?Do Singaporeans need to share wives one day too just to survive in it. Sad country.

@@anglo-saxonconnor817 why the hate bro? Did you get kicked out of sgp or what? I work here and my daily commute involves public transport it's so good and efficient no need to worry about parking or accidents. Think before commenting don't just vomit anything that comes to your mind.
