    I think a lot of people think of "Stepover" as "overlap" not "how much to move before the next path", which is the reverse of that. This was my mistake as well, stepover, in other areas, is overlap. not "shift" which is how it's used in vectric.

    Hi Mark, I will try to catch your live Q&A today but I have more room to comment here. Yesterday, I made a snowman on my 4th axis.
    I used a 3/8 inch ball nose for roughing and 1/8 inch ball nose for finish cut. It will need a lot of sanding. Watching this video, it appears that
    I could have used the 3/8 inch ball nose for roughing and a 1/4 inch ball nose for finishing with a 8% stepover or could I just use a 1/4 inch ball nose for roughing with say a 40% stepover and then the finishing with the 1/4 ball nose at 8% for finishing. The snowman is basically a 1 inch rectangle on top of a 1.5 inch circle on top of a 2 inch than 2.5 inch. Thank yu
