very helpful video, loved it. but you putted 64 as sign bit in double precision number. When we start from 0 then we have only 63 as MSB. Please correct it, because your video is awesome.

Sir can u please answer my doubt.In extended precision floating point there is 1 sign bit,15 bits for exponent,there are 64 magnitude bits out of which 63bits for significand fraction and 1bit for significand integer.(source- Wikipedia)What is significand integer,it is not there in single and double precision.tq sir
For example,123.45 can be represented as a floating-point number with the integer 12345 as the significand and a 10^−2 is power....

there's a problem with how you converted 1033 to binary in double precision dont understand how you got that value

Last bit bit - 1
2nd Last bit - 2
3rd Last bit - 4
4th Last bit - 8
5th Last bit - 16
6th Last bit - 32
7th Last bit - 64
8th Last bit - 128
9th Last bit - 256
10th Last bit - 512
First bit - 1024
(Total 11 bits)
We have to calculate 1033 means
1024 + 8 + 1 = 1033 (SO, first bit(1024), 4th Last bit (8) & Last bit (1)....rest of others are consider as 0).
Therefore, 1033 = 10000001001.

For representing 32 bit, you started from 31,31....upto 0.
For representing 64 bit, you started from 64,63....upto 0.
So, my doubt is for 32 bit why should i start from 31 and not 32 ???
