Thanks so much for putting this together. This is the exact information I have been looking for. I’m a music teacher in Canada teaching students about black history with a focus on blues music. A lot of our modern music has blues influences in it such as Elvis, Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Do you have a power point presentation with the illustrations and info with it?
I mean tbh if the entire culture tells you "you are less than others" its probably kinda hard to stay confident in the idea you arent.... not to mention its hard to have radical principles when youre hungry Pretty sad tbh

It’s really weird and unexpected how so many black artists were racist about themselves
