the avengers have always been the D listers and still kinda are. Nothing can ever beat the omega level cool factor of the classic X-Men before the 2000s. glad new people are able to see that now. check out X-Men Grand Design, its a good book to catch up on.
I watched 2.5 seasons of the original before this one bcs I have never watched any x men media before this, and I was so surprised with how obvious the topics about operation are. As a queer bi racial emigrant their experiences aren't that different from what we go throw, try s2ep2, it’s the sadist queer thing I have ever seen. One of the amazing things about x men 97 is how they transferred these themes into our time in a way that belongs to this time and not 30 years ago. it feels relevant it feels fresh it feels like it’s about what we go throw today, it’s different from x men 92 in presentation in a perfect way
I thought its not all that! I hate the villain there fighting now 😒. And its going into a inter galactic shit which is in the comics but i don't like 😞. Plus they shouldn't have killed gambit!
What are you talking about? Apocalypse is an earth villain, and they're time traveling. Unless the Shi'Ar come back, nothing is intergalactic. And if you can't see how Bastion was a good villain, I can't help you. And Gambit will be back. Trust me.
@@ImnotMattMurdock I liked Bastion but I honestly would have preferred we were slowly introduced to him like in the comics. Then let him in Season 3 or 4 become the Nimrod human version.
@dinmavric5504 I get what you mean, but I think they took the best possible route, considering this is the revival of a 30 year old show. If they played it too close to the chest, they could risk boring casuals and such. So I think it's okay all things considered. Plus, this Apocalypse storyline will probably be great, too

Umm Xmen always better then Avengers for me... more adult themed and diverse.
Best thing from Marvel since Gotg 3
got to agree with you there, they both made me cry
It's fantastic. Glad I was right about it.
He can modulate the beams to be non-lethal. But usually at full power it is lethal and vaporizes people.
X-Men 97 has to be the best show Marvel has done so far since Disney bought Marvel.
True
