@@FellDestroyedMusic Nah, it's literally what it was on Ps2 so functions the exact same, even asks for a memory slot to save the game like old times. On Ps5 you can rewind but apparently that's all Ps Classic games but that's it.
Great video really enjoyed seeing the maps, brought back a lot of memories! I'd have put tomb really high, purely because me my brother and my friend used to play Tomb when timesplitters first came out. We used to do 1v1v1 no bots, and man it was fun. We would play it for hours and it got very competitive!!
That's great to hear! That's what I wanted to do when doing this, to showcase the maps when talking about them, since I feel Free Radical Design had a lot of good visions, but in the first they were quite rushed, but then you can see a lot of themes and ideas coming back to life. That actually sounds like a fitting way to play the Tomb stage. I believe with the cluncky gameplay of TS1 in comparison to the others makes it a bit tideous to play on with tons of bots, so that's actually a good thought, thanks for the response!
This seems like the humble beginnings of a great youtuber, you take my sub. I hope to see more like this in the future. Maybe you could rate the guns, or the characters or the campaigns or minigames. Do it all The time splitters series is untapped gold if u ask me
Thank you, that is appreciated a lot. I do have different ideas going forward too, not just in the realm of TimeSplitters, but also other franchises. One of my biggest projects at the moment is a potential new Marvel vs Capcom roster. Other than that, I am thinking of ways to do more TimeSplitters themed as well. It's a bit much to rank all the characters themselves, and I know most would be very biased, but I think modes, characters that should return or designs that should be having a second look type of video could easily happen. Also some gameplay stuff perhaps. Thank you once again for the kind comment.
Yes! Ice Station is my favorite one, so happy to see it in the top ten! Great video, just adjust audio a bit, sometimes the music is a bit overpowering!
Yeah, Ice Station is pretty solid. You can play tons of modes on it, it's pretty open, just really good. If it were to come back I'd hope the dark abyss background would get more expanded on. Also, thank you! I was concerned with the audio during editing, and I will focus more on that part for future videoes! Appreaciate the comment.
Nice to see Hangar at #5 and Hospital at #2! I was about to mention Scrapyard being missing till I saw the ending. That's probably my most played map. I used to play Virus and my friends and I would stay at the back of the hallway and mow them down.
Yes, I believe I had that in the back of my consciousness, and I think it left an imprint that I had to include it in the video itself. I was not 100% sure if it was done in TSR when doing the lines and therefore I forgot to give it a shout out, but it is indeed a brilliant concept that would elevate the stage.
Thank you very much! That's appreciated. I'd love to create more of these types of videos in the future, and felt this was a great way to test the waters. :)
Gud list, brother. I'd say I'd rate then about the same! However the redeeming factor for Village is the sound track. Probably my favorite from TS1. Keep up the good content! God Bless!
I have Bunker (39th) on my top 5. Played countless hours TimeSplitters online especially team modes like ctb and tdm and this is one of my favorite maps. Gd video still, perhaps adjust audio more to voice. Music is a bit too loud.
Thank you! And yeah, as I said in the video, if you like Bunker you probably really like it. To me it's a bit too much of a maze, and the lights are a bit too off putting outside of a run on the emulator, which it looks great, but on an old tv it's too dark. Other than that, I believe there is huge potential in Bunker, so I can see why you would like it. Awesome opinion! And yes! I have been working a bit on it, and will focus even more on that part in the next video. Thanks for the comment.
Hey man Great Video, I remember playing hours of hours of Timesplitters 2 with my friend, thanks for the nostalgia. And I think that you have maybe forgotten one Map from TS2, I can’t really recall the name but i think it was called Scrapyard. I played it a lot and couldn’t find it in your list. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Scotland the Brave was my favorite single player map, just for the whole experience really. As for multiplayer it was probably Ice Station. I also loved the mapmaker feature in TSFP.
It's funny that your complaints about row ranking levels are that they are maze like or levels that use part of a single player map. In Goldeneye 007, Complex and Facility end up being the best maps.
It's only accessable in certain modes. It's not in Virus for example. However, to access the area you have to be on far right side of where the water is, and at a certain point a gondola would pass through and you could get on it. Along the river before the bridge an open door would be there with a staircase following it. It's basically just that, and a room without any other access outside of the window you see in the video.

Timesplitters is the ONLY game that will get me back into gaming
You downloaded it from the PS store yet? They brought all 3 out in August.
@MrGlostuber wasn't even aware of that! Is there an actual multi-player functionality to it? Where you can play with people around the world?

@@skysplittersgaming3060 Looking forward to it... also CLEARLY the best character is the goldfish... Nobody radiates the pure charisma as that guy

That ice station was fun with 4 teams

can't concentrate on your narration when Graeme's amazing music is playing
The graphic style of VR on TSFP makes me think of Tron Legacy
China shop is a classic. I see why this was the map that was chosen for all 3 games.
Clearly! And the update to it's design was necessary for ultimate utilization.

You should do tier list for the weapons.
I had ts2 & my favorites were streets & hangar. I used to play ice station with 4 teams also just to make it competitive
you clearly don't play CTF, some of these maps are amazing for that
Great Vid!

Hello thank you for this video
this intro didn't age well.. RIP Free Radical
you forgot mapmaker maps though...jk a list of mapmaker themes. tiles would be cool
Awesome suggestion! The topic idea would need more elaboration, but could be an interesting topic idea!

Song 2:18?
Spaceship theme from TS1.
Chinese should have been number 1 otherwise a good list!
I only played TS2 and Future Perfect but I heard 1 was the least fun. I'm only ~10 minutes into the video but they do look pretty bad.
