I got the DPS Centurion chair in black in October 2023. My verdict is also "It's ok." The build was simple and included all the tools you need for assembly. One of the armrest adjustment buttons already broke, but I was able to fix it with tape. It's comfortable enough for the price. I haven't had any back problems since I got it and I'm chronically online. Feels pretty good. For the record: I'm overweight at 6'3". Made in Vietnam. EDIT: I did not know about the back locking feature. NEAT. Thanks for that.
I have one that is the same brand and it looks similar but I got it a year ago and it has held up great! I just found out mine has the lean back thing too and I didn't even know about it until watching this 😂
Yep! It's very nice and comfortable plus it is really sturdy and doesn't feel cheap. For $129 That's a great price! Yor local store should have a display model where you can test it out and get a feel for it's quality. IMO it's a solid 9/10 chair
Ngl the quality seems very good and it’s very comfy the only thing I will say if they made the head rest able to tilt forward instead the up an down slide
I seen another receive mention the chair had an odour to it, did you notice the same? My wife has bought some things from wayfair that was made in Vietnam and had some sort of chemical glue type smell that took months to go away.
the one that I have in order to pull it back down you need to pull it up and then it has to stop for it to go a little bit higher so you can put it back down
actually i found out that this chair is also made in China, the first chair i had also lasted like 3 months, but its made in vietnam 😅, how is the chair after 8 months?
It's held up good. Comfort wise it is no different than 8 months ago. I made a really dumb mistake and sat down in the chair way too fast and put all my body weight on the left arm while it was fully extended and popped the adjustment button across the room. Really was totally my fault and was very stupid what I did. Live and learn! :D
I noticed the spring adjustment knob on the bottom. Is this to adjust the resistance to the back tilting or does the chair rock as well? I'm trying to find something that will allow for back tilting but also rock and none of the reviews I've found cover this.
It's still very comfortable today. The only issue to report is that one of the levers to adjust the armrest height broke. Totally my fault. I put a lot of my body weight on it when it was at the highest position while I was in a rush.
6’1 here, the headrest is perfect at its lowest height and can be adjusted to go even higher. Incredible chair! Super comfy and the lumbar support is 10/10
The chair goes up and down. I’m 6 feet tall and the chair is more than adequately tall for my needs. The chair can also go really low for shorter people.
There is knob underneath the chair. Turn it clockwise to loosen the tilt tension and feel a slight "rock" instead of a stiff back rest. The more you recline, the more the rocking feeling. I picked up mine today at Costco. Love it. @@NatesZone

How well did it hold up?
Yeah tell us
Update us, peasant
How is it doin
Just got this chair for only $130. Very impressed by the build quality and comfort!
Awesome! ❤

Just saw this chair at our Costco today was like ooooh I am totally gonna get this next weekend. :)
It's been a great chair so far! Thanks for watching! :-)

Had to look this up bc I forgot what the other left bar does lol
This chair is going on sale December 8 and looking to pick it up at 129.99, would you recommend?

@@NatesZone Is it $130 in store but $150 online?
Very much so recommend, this chair hits way above its weight class for the price
Picked mine up yesterday and I love it, my wife is going to get one today as well after she tried mine
Awesome! Thanks for watching! :-)
Head rest is adjustable too. You didn't mentioned
Ngl the quality seems very good and it’s very comfy the only thing I will say if they made the head rest able to tilt forward instead the up an down slide
Use a small pillow for your neck when you recline. It adds even more comfort to an already comfortable chair.
Great chair, bought it today
And oh man was a great buy
Poliester 100%

I never noticed a foul odor from the chair. I would have mentioned it in the video if it smelled bad.
No odor from mine that I could tell
I have a question, I bought this chair but I lost the package of screws and I don't know where I can get the screws, can someone help me please?😢😢
Hey I was wondering how to adjust the headrest I got one and forgot how
You slide it up or down.
the one that I have in order to pull it back down you need to pull it up and then it has to stop for it to go a little bit higher so you can put it back down
@@die-sas7462 Tysm that was the problem I just tried pushing it down and it didn’t work but it did at max height
thank you, i'm using this chair

Just got it brand new in box for 20 bucks, hopefully its good
That's awesome! What a deal! :-)
Hey Nate how’s the chair so fair it’s been a couple of months how has it held up thinking of getting a new chair
How is the hydraulic? I have similar one and drops in height Little by Little before you know it your on the floor!
So far it doesn’t do that. No sinking to report so far.
How’s the chair now? Is it still as comfortable? Any issues to report?

@@NatesZoneI did that with my previous chair too I get too comfortable and put way too much weight on it
how tall are you, im 6'1 and idk if the headrest will reach my head
I am exactly 6 feet tall. It reaches my head perfectly.
6’1 here, the headrest is perfect at its lowest height and can be adjusted to go even higher. Incredible chair! Super comfy and the lumbar support is 10/10
Ive been looking at it but the problem is-does it raise up? Like can it work for someone whos tall?

@NatesZone Thank you for responding, I've looked for some stuff about it and you were the only one to just say it-
@@Digital-1823 Happy to help! :-)
It's 130 right now from 10/12 - 10/20/2024
Must be a regional price - online its up for $150. Even across 3 of my local shops
Looking at getting this. Does the arm rest wobble at all?
It's very sturdy. No wobble at all.
I just got mine for 130 today💙
Sweet! Awesome deal! :-)
Saw this at Costco the other day. Does it have rocking feature?
I am not able to rock my chair. Thanks for watching! :)

After 2 weeks with it, how's the chair?
Still the same. Nothing has changed from this video. Still holding up well.
