My company just put me in a dd15 freightliner daycab. We are in the mountains. That thing pulls 79k of water like a charm up those mountains. Can't imagine how nice a tune would be!

Brad said he had a direct drive 10 speed, I turned in the keys to a Crashcadia the seventh of last month with a downspeed speced drivetrain. This month, I'm picking up a Pete 579 with X15 Performance engine, a 13 speed manual, and 3.36 rears. How are the X15 Efficiency and Performance series engines handling your tunes.

I dont inderstand how they were able to tune a truck with a dpf, if it increases soot build up and plugs your dpf it could blow the engine up due to too much backpressure, cant be good for your truck, Id think youd be having to do more regens too, kind of cool though.
Great question! Our PDI tuning actually creates less emissions than factory tuning! So you're actually pushing less carbon into the filter and not doing as many regens. All while gaining HP/Torque and fuel efficiency. We are the only aftermarket performance company that holds CARB Executive Orders on Tuning/Tuners. To meet the criteria for that we must prove through emissions tests that our tuning is burning as clean or cleaner than factory. We have done that on CAT, CUMMINS, Series 60 Detroit and pending approval on DD15 series. Thanks for watching!
This was before the handheld tuner, but the tuning is the same. Just now you have control of flashing the ECM yourself instead of having to come to us, or ship your ECM in to get flashed.

How would this tune work on truck that is already deleted? Any interference?
It would not work. Our tuning is for non deleted trucks, it uses all factory emissions with still gaining HP/Torque and Efficiency.

I have the 505 hp 10spd to dd15 does this increase tq to ?
15% over the stock torque setting.
Was this ecm tuning or the big boss plug n play tuner?
