Great video! My favorite hidden mickey is the unofficial hidden mickey at Grizzly River Run. I heard from fellow cast members that the original hidden Mickey, which was a cave drawing, was removed by past contractors during a reno and forgot to put it back in. So a nighttime ride mechanic saw that, felt that they cannot be the only attraction w/out a hidden Mickey, and added a new one in himself. I personally think the story, and what he added in and where, makes this hidden Mickey truly special and hope it never goes away.

Very charming to hear the band! Amanda, I love Casey Junior as well. I was VP of a model train club in Houston, TX. I wrote an article about how the engine works. I actually called DL while I was literally riding the Hermann Park train in Houston. The operator told me Mickey (the mechanic said....how it works) My joke was not Mickey Mouse or 'Mickey Eisner' but, Mickey the mechanic. Chris, Did your know Walt & Co. went int shell of castle looking to put in attraction. Man wearing white suit saw a gunny sack while up there along with dozens of cats. Once he moved the sack, his suit turned black! Stay tuned for why. unless you know the answer already. Would love to see one mirror with the Evil Queen & Gaston fighting over it.

I have never seen that hidden Mickey by the cast member door (which I recall many of my CM friends would use whenever they got off their shift at Red Rose tavern/Village haus). Huge kudos to the flo’s CM. I worked in the back of house at Flo’s one day in 2012 (I’m a former CM). My favorite hidden Mickey’s have to be the dining room one in the ballroom of the haunted mansion and the hidden Mickey found in Peter Pan’s flight. I used to pick up the Steve Barrett hidden Mickey’s each time at Disneyland (they would sell them yearly at the music shop). Loved that book! Thank you so much for all of your positivity, Chris! We just came back from our yearly pilgrimage to Disney World. My son has been obsessed with Hidden Mickey’s since he was little (he’s 13 now). Every year he finds new ones! If we get to Disneyland some day we will remember to look for the rarest one!

Before they got rid of it, my favorite Hidden Mickey was in the back of the Big Thunder BBQ. There was a pile of used horseshoes and three were positioned to make the Hidden Mickey.
This was an excellent video Chris. It's great to see the entire family with you and Disney is never the same without PPP. I never knew about this hidden mickey before and thank you for showing me. That secret where Walt was walking down Main Street before he even went on any attractions is so fascinating. The Disney cast members are the reason why I visit Disneyland. They deserve a lot of praise when I'm at the parks! I have a friend who works at Disneyland and he's been there for quite a while. Fun fact! The coat of arms on the castle is the plantagenet coat of arms. King Edward the 1st was married to Eleanor of Castille. They modeled their life to those of King arthur and guinevere. Rumor is their coat of arms was chosen because of their love of arthurian legend. The sword in the stone being just inside the castle and the carousel having the shields of arthurian knights is evidence to back this up. The knight on horse painting inside of the haunted mansion is the plantagenet black prince Edward as well.
Couldn't see it at first...had to rewatch it several times before my eyes focused inside the hole...tried to see it in the surroundings. Crazy! I also wanted to say that I appreciate your positive spin and for taking time to say how great we are in your videos. Sometimes you just need that boost in your day. Thank you for the guided tour to find this! I will definitely go take a look for it next time I’m there. I have to say, my favorite hidden Mickey is in the Haunted Mansion ballroom, the plates on the dining table. And I know it’s not technically hidden Mickey, but the spider over the bullet hole was some thing I’ve heard about, but finally found on my own when I was down there about three weeks ago. 😃

I think my favorite hidden Mickey is the cannonball holes in the fort when you first come out of the cave in Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s on your right hand side second hole as you’re coming out. There’s one in Indiana Jones on the wall in the film room where Sallah is talking about the ride and the cogs on big thunder are also pretty fun
Oh man. I would have loved to find the hidden Mickey in Indiana Jones. We were stuck in line in that room when the ride broke down Sunday night. Where in the room is it?
@@heatherr8753 when you get right to the end of that room and you have the two doorways, a cast member is usually standing to the left… you can ask them to shine a light on the wall to the left and that! Is where the hidden Mickey is… it’s made of an area where the “shaded aging” of the brick is shaped around a lighter tan area that makes the shape…. Also supposedly in the skull chamber in the stone head there is allegedly a skeleton wearing a set of mouse ears but I have yet to see that…
There's also a hidden Mickey inside of the Indiana Jones ride. One of the rooms is filled with skeletons, and if you look back over your left shoulder as you enter the room, one of the skeletons is wearing a Mickey Mouse hat.
I remember on more than one trip to Disneyland back in the 1960's, Merlin's Magic Shop -- It was located in a cottage on your right just as you pass through the Castle, entering Fantasyland. I read it was closed in 1983. Even today, I keep looking for it as I pass through that area, --- that shop was so full of Disney magic!
I love your content and u give so much good info. In return, here are a few hidden micky's. There is one on the coconut on the sign in the queue for Tropical Hideaway. There is another formed by 3 barrels in T.H. where the carpets are stored. Great video as always! My favorite hidden Mickey is also the first one I ever found, it’s the one in the ballroom scene in Haunted Mansion that is made with the plates on the table! Probably because it’s one of the easier ones to find.

My favorite is on pirates of the Caribbean. On the suite of armor. My tie for first has to be the gears on BTMR! I like it when they are from an odd angle that you normally would not notice
Great video, I'll have to look there on my next visit. You do realize you could walk right up to it. That area is for assistance dog's to do their business, so you are actually able to walk in through the gate you were standing at.

My favorite Hidden Mickey is on the grate below the stage in the Golden Horseshoe. I have some great memories of seeing the original Golden Horseshoe Review when I was a kid. I use to be a cast member at the Disneyland Hotel in banquet bars. Love what you do! I have some stories. But I'm glad you saw this rare hidden Mickey!
It's hard to pick one favorite hidden Mickey, truly it is. Way before I discovered PPP, I did something similar on Facebook with just my family and friends, not the public. When we would go to Disneyland I would take pictures of hidden mickeys, post them to my family and friends and it was called "where in the Park?" I would start with the first photo and post it as "where in the park #1 is this hidden Mickey?" Our family and friends love every time I do it. There was one hidden Mickey I posted none of my family and friends could ever figure out the location, none of them even had a remotely close guess. It is the one in the Blue bayou, in the women's room. I don't know if there's one in the men's room just as a side note lol. In the women's room, in one of the sink's the drain plates, there is a hidden Mickey. The drain plate is hole punch out style, one of the drain plates has three of the whole punch outs connecting and intersecting to form a hidden Mickey. So since that's the hidden Mickey that stumped on my family and friends on Facebook, I'm going to select that one as my favorite. °o°
As many times as I’ve been to DL (like hundreds), I’ve never ever seen Gaston!!! I’ll have to make it my mission in December when we come back! Love your videos guys! 😊
Not a hidden mickey but when I was 8 yrs old I wished for a baby sister in Snow Whites Wishing Well. My parents adopted my sister and she promptly started destroying my stuff. So we went back to Disneyland and I wished for a baby brother. Mother was all "good luck with that!" Mom wasn't feeling good so she went to the Doctor and found out she was carrying my new baby brother.
Speaking of that I was having a tough time at work, so I took time for a Chris, Amanda, Miles, Disney break. Thank you! You made me feel better! Sorry!, no I didn't see the hidden mickey but I did see mr. Lizard
I was there today (July 9th '22) and was looking for it. It has been removed. Apparently that area is accessible for guests with service dogs to use as a restroom. It seems that a guest put it there when they took their dog in there. So it wasn't an official "Hidden Mickey". A cast member that was working there last weekend said it was there when she was working. So it was removed in the last week.
My favorite Hidden Mickey is the ears on Indiana Jones. Such a nifty and hard to find mickey! Have you heard of the hidden mickey on Haunted mansion involving looking at the candle sticks upside down in the waiting room for the elevators? I haven't seen it advertised anywhere.
My favorite hidden mickey, that NO ONE has ever shared, is on your wifes favorite ride, Indiana Jones, when you enter the room with all the bodies, you have to look behind, and to the left, one of the skeletons are wearing micky ears, me and my brother were only able to see it because the ride broke down, and we got an in show exit, also the bugs, some are projections, and some are actual rubber bugs on the wall
I just found a hidden Mickey on the fountain in downtown Disney. It’s on the yellow tile. I love your videos and was just at Disneyland, I think we just missed you🥺. Keep up the positive videos. I would love to see another video of downtown Disney. ❤️everything you do.

My favorite hidden Mickey, is right above the my home Games of Pixar Pier, in the eveway above Bullseye Stallion Stampede. Great video as always, hope to see you in the parks again sometime soon.

I really enjoy the walking trips around the park.
It has not always been crowded. There seemed to be nobody in the park in a part of my dad's recording of our trip to Disneyland in 1986.
I use to be a cast member at the Disneyland Hotel in banquet bars. Love what you do! I have some stories. But I'm glad you saw this rare hidden Mickey!

It's hard to pick one favorite hidden Mickey, truly it is. Way before I discovered PPP, I did something similar on Facebook with just my family and friends, not the public.
When we would go to Disneyland I would take pictures of hidden mickeys, post them to my family and friends and it was called "where in the Park?" I would start with the first photo and post it as "where in the park #1 is this hidden Mickey?" Our family and friends love every time I do it.
There was one hidden Mickey I posted none of my family and friends could ever figure out the location, none of them even had a remotely close guess.
It is the one in the Blue bayou, in the women's room. I don't know if there's one in the men's room just as a side note lol. In the women's room, in one of the sink's the drain plates, there is a hidden Mickey.
The drain plate is hole punch out style, one of the drain plates has three of the whole punch outs connecting and intersecting to form a hidden Mickey.
So since that's the hidden Mickey that stumped on my family and friends on Facebook, I'm going to select that one as my favorite. °o°

Not a hidden mickey but when I was 8 yrs old I wished for a baby sister in Snow Whites Wishing Well. My parents adopted my sister and she promptly started destroying my stuff. So we went back to Disneyland and I wished for a baby brother. Mother was all "good luck with that!" Mom wasn't feeling good so she went to the Doctor and found out she was carrying my new baby brother.
Speaking of that I was having a tough time at work, so I took time for a Chris, Amanda, Miles, Disney break. Thank you! You made me feel better!

I was there today (July 9th '22) and was looking for it. It has been removed. Apparently that area is accessible for guests with service dogs to use as a restroom. It seems that a guest put it there when they took their dog in there. So it wasn't an official "Hidden Mickey". A cast member that was working there last weekend said it was there when she was working. So it was removed in the last week.

My favorite Hidden Mickey is the ears on Indiana Jones. Such a nifty and hard to find mickey! Have you heard of the hidden mickey on Haunted mansion involving looking at the candle sticks upside down in the waiting room for the elevators? I haven't seen it advertised anywhere.
My favorite hidden mickey, that NO ONE has ever shared, is on your wifes favorite ride, Indiana Jones, when you enter the room with all the bodies, you have to look behind, and to the left, one of the skeletons are wearing micky ears, me and my brother were only able to see it because the ride broke down, and we got an in show exit, also the bugs, some are projections, and some are actual rubber bugs on the wall

There is also a hidden Mickey you can see only from the air. It actually spans across the street from DCA to the hotel side.
