How Cad Bane Saved Darth Maul [CANON] (HUGE team up)

- One of my favourite team ups in Star Wars. Maul finds himself on Nar Shaddaa (Nal Hutta's moon) and ends up having to hide his true powers against a bar full of guys trying to start something with him. Maul actually gets in bad shape until Cad Bane shows to up to save his...you know what.
If only he could have used his full powers, but at this point Palpatine still wanted him to hide in the shadows as all Sith do until the time is fully right (order 66) to reveal both master and apprentice, properly.
I hope we'll see Darth Maul in Kenobi starring Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader. Kenobi takes place 10 years after Revenge of the Sith, and 10 years before A New Hope. This means we could also see Cad Bane in Kenobi as well if we get some baaaaad bounty hunters.

I’d love to see more of Cad Bane in canon. He’s one of my favorite minor characters in all of Star Wars and he deserves quality stories. He shouldn’t be a main character, but he deserves a bigger role in Star Wars nonetheless.
Unless their name is Ahsoka, Disney will never waste their time with other characters. Star Wars is becoming Ahsoka Tano's story.... what a waste...
@@faith518 She’s only just been introduced in live action and she’s not even a major character, I really don’t see that at all. If anything it’s turning into the Mandalorian’s story or Grogu’s more than anyone.
@@joestorywrestler20 yes but she has already have a lot of screen time. The Clone Wars's series is about her, she is the main character, she also played a BIG role in Rebels. Now she had cameos in Mandalorian and TBOBF and also there is the upcoming show "Ahsoka" which is solely about her. Also, her voice could be heard in the finale of Episofe 9... she is everywhere. I want to see other characters, Ahsoka should just be dropped we already know everything about her and if a character has nothing more to learn then she has no character arc and that's boring...
@@faith518 It’s almost like people want more Ahsoka live-action content? I’m not saying she’s not being used too much but you have to see that people want it. Disney is always going to listen to money and Ahsoka makes money. Same goes for Grogu and Mando even if it’s to the detriment of the quality of storytelling, which is a shame.

@@darthmaul8724 maul was trained to be a capable fighter so his lightsaber training would have been more extensive than his force training, so there probably wouldn’t be a significant difference
@@darthmaul8724 his connection to the force was definitely severed as was anakins. This resulted in maul being incapable of reaching his true potential. Remember, when he was chosen as a child, he was chosen with the intent of being Darth Sidious’ successor, as anakin was not in the picture yet. His rampage in the Venator Star Destroyer in s7 was just a glimpse.
@@iova3922 Juyo form demands extensive usage of force. Darth Vader couldn't swing his lightsabre like Anakin Skywalker because of his machine body and hence he use the force to enhance the strength of his lightsabre swings. How do you think Sidious was able to not only outmatch but even toy with Savage Oppress who was twice his size and had strong brute force. Trained force users not only use the force to do push or lightning but also to enhance their physical strength. The seventh form also needed a lot of acrobatics which Maul couldn't perform with his robotic legs(atleast without using the force).

I guess with his full body in season seven he would have defeated Kenobi with ease and would have literally toyed Ahsoka through out their duel (or probably disarmed her within moments). He literally handled both Qui Gon Jinn and Obiwan Kenobi when he was literally 22 years old and technically defeated them.
A team up between one of the top bounty hunters and a Sith Lord would be almost unstoppable.
The top but yeah that would be epic. They can take on vader with bane's quick draw speed and mauls acrobatics
I think that cad bane is actually underrated. He’s my favorite bounty hunter followed by Boba

Cool story about Darth Maul holding back from using his deadly light-saber to keep undercover for the sake of Darth Sidious' plan. Nicely narrated and cool voice work too.
Could we please get a canonical explanation for Yoda's hair loss from Episode III to Episode V? I think it has some great lore implications.
@@SuperRambo111 Some Lightsabers have switches installed on the sides of the hilts, that allows the user to adjust the length of the blade. But Yoda's doesn't have that (not to my knowledge at least)... his Lightsaber is what is called a "Shoto Lightsaber" which is just a fancy term for a smaller more compact blade, like Ahsoka's secondary yellowish-green saber in TCW.

I love the darkside stories. Theyre never really potrayed on screen like they are in the comics...
I dont understand why Disney cant do another Clone Wars-esque show. It would be an anthology. Based on different characters, some small arcs. Be able to bring back old characters, let them shine. Like a small story of OT Boba Fett. Or Vader tracking jedi.

The lore just prior to the vents of Phantom Menace is really interesting to me, loved hearing about the ties between Palpatine and the Trade Federation prior to the movie. Also interesting to know what Maul was doing while waiting for his master’s plan to be set in motion.

Rewatched the scene in Clone Wars and hadn’t realized that Maul used the Dark Saber against Palpatine .
Yeah, me too. I just rewatched that same episode yesterday lol, and I just thought, "wow, Palpatine had a claim to the Dark Saber cause he beat Maul... but he wasn't interested at all, he probably looked upon it just as some trinket" really shows his true villainy.

I still think that cad banes introduction was just to bring him in to the live action universe so they can use him as a more prominent character in Kenobi
I think what the Star Wars universe desperately needs is a "What if...?" series. This will answer a lot of questions and confirm a lot of fan theories.
I think your channel has the potential to reach a lot of higher people at Lucasfilm, given your history with your Vader episodes.

Yes yes and Hell Yes, thank you for filling so many gaps in the Saga, I feel that we need a Guide or Narrator like in Dune Explaining where we are and what is happening and at the End of Each Saga you Fill the Gaps to the Next Great Movie or what ever. In 1977 at the Release of the First Star Wars I was 21 and just loved the Start but was Confused like everyone where are we but it was so cool. I'm a bit tired of seeing people think the medichlorians create the force. THEY DO NOT. Medichlorians are drawn to the force and feed off it, the stronger someone is with the force, the more there are. The Jedi then measure this count to determine how potentially powerful with the force someone is.
@@Whoami691 If that was the case Vader was suppose to be twice as strong as Yoda and Sidious in the force but he only reached 80 percent of Sidious's strength in the force because of the loss of so much of his body. This is what Star wars theory says and he literally has met actors and writers of Star Wars.

George Lucas planned Maul to be the master of the rule of 2 in his sequel trilogy the clone wars was supposed to be a Segway into that but it got cancelled and replaced by Disney sequel

@@PadawanNeel qui gon is the only example of a Jedi I can think of, that is truly in touch with the force. He lets the force guide his actions, and doesn’t just do whatever the council say. In fact, his rejection of the Jedi counsel altogether, and obedience to nothing but the force, makes him sort of the ‘perfect Jedi’ for me at least. In a way, his attitudes also mirror the attitudes of anakin- it’s really tragic to think that, if qui gon had trained anakin and gave him and outlet to express his frustrations and fears, he might’ve not turned to the dark side. There’s also the fact he’s Liam neeson ;)

Poor dude. Forced into the dark side, then forced to kill Jedi he was no match for, Then chopped in half and revived via his hate.
Then went on to get killed by the same jedi who chopped him in half
I mean he was more than a match, but then he became arrogant. Honestly I probably would have been arrogant as well, if I had just defeated somebody considered to be of Council-Member rank, even if unofficial.
At 22 years old he was a match for most jedi except for probably Yoda or Mace, eventhough years later he faced Mace.
