I think if you love a character, you should pull them regardless of their performance or meta-relevancy. If you know you love DHIL, you can pull him and then work towards getting his best team.
Im DanIL E2S1 users since his first released, he still good but honestly compared too Acheron E2S1, his value is lower.. Despited love the Character, if you want an ideal and more long lasting investation DPS I really suggest you to get Acheron E2S1 first.. Although they Both Need Sparkle + LC, Acheron is relatively had Cheaper and easier build and Team Combination. And they Both rumoured will get rerun too very soon, rumoured DanIL rerun at 2.6 Phase 1 with Rappa While Acheron rumoured rerun on Phase 2, this is good for you can save about 8000+ Stellar jades on Phase 1 2.6 Im goin for Acheron E2S1 too, my saving estimated around 280-300 pulls when time comes. + rate on ( losing on Feixiao while building pity lol ) So, its your decision mate, hope you enjoy the game and always winning rate off.

I don't have Sparkle myself so I'm not completely familiar with her gameplay. With that being said, with the rotation I'm using in this video, Sparkle can't replicate what Bronya can do. Sparkle can, however, still enable DHIL to 0-cycle with a sustain even if not using the same strategy I used.
