@@azashiro13end game modes always favor whoever is in the current banner but my goodness this one's too obvious. they probably know rappa sales will tank so they pulled a bit of string to at least help her on that department.
@@danielleorchestra5023 the reality is is that people don't care for pure fiction, it's a niche mod. so the only way to get people engage with the mod and spend time on it is to create a synthetic difficulty; then selling the solution. i'd say the dino is the only toxic mob in this game, it should never be used again.
@@azashiro13 making a game mode cater to a future unit isn't a bad thing on its own, but imo this pf is just unfair, with weak blessings and the damn dinos. They could have at least made the other blessings viable to use.

The MoC seems like it will be more doable since it's a % of max HP thing, so I look forward to seeing that!
facts, i genuinely thought i was doing something wrong when i took multiple tries to 3* this pf with my meta teams. then i saw velleity and his whaled serval team barely get 40k and i knew this pf was messed up

I had to use a bunch of random carries (acheron + jing yuan) in first half and a sustainless himeko+firefly 2nd half to get 60k. The PF blessing is so bad this cycle
Who is in each of your teams ? I used Himeko super break and my Himeko is really bad, and she was able to do 26k or smth which was enough for 61k for me

this PF was HORRIBLE. literally 120+ attempts to finally get 60k. i tried and tried and tried w/ my teams but i don't have acheron, black swan, robin, feixiao, etc. finally managed w/ tingyun, argenti, bronya, gallagher on 1st half and then ruan mei, himeko, march 7th, and HMC (got the idea to bring in march from a vid i watched). otherwise i was struggling w all sorts of combinations. i hate the way the waves are released. they're so clunky and awkward and the "whimsicality" is useless.
I agree it's really hard without meta unit. The weak buff just made it worse, but I am sure you learned a thing or two from the 120+ attempts. It's better to see it as you have 120+ playtime instead of 1 playtime with meta characters
Whoa I feel better seeing people talk about hard this PF was. My Knight of Beauty Argenti carries me so hard (thank goodness for the blessing that ignores weakness type) but I struggled on 2nd half and just assumed I didn’t pull the right characters. Retried and eventually got 61k.
It's stupid how it's an absolute hard requirement to use full action advance equipment and ridiculous SPD on everyone just to try and clear, and still coming short. I get that it's a challenge run but this Pure Fiction is clearly too much. I have a slow build E6 Serval with 2700ATK, 77/168 Crit and in a team with E1S0 Sparkle, E6 Tingyun and E1S0 Aventurine I was only able to barely get 24k points myself. Also, I have just returned to the game from a 4 month hiatus and I don't remember Pure Fiction ever having just 4 enemies on the field. It feels like garbage to play into, when did they make that change? I had to look up pure fiction vids from 6 months ago just to check that I wasn't hallucinating. And the enemy health, oh lord the enemy health has bloated to some pretty ridiculous levels at this point. Just for laughs, I went and tested damage on a soda dog. Did some single-target only damage, added it all together and calculated based on measuring its health bar. If my calculations are correct, a single soda dog in Pure Fiction 4 now has ~59400 health. I looked at a Pure Fiction video you uploaded in March, in it the stage hazard did 37276 damage TO EACH ENEMY INDIVIDUALLY ( and it was enough to completely one-shot every single squishy enemy from 100 to zero. So not only are the enemies much tankier, there's less of them on the field at once and the stage hazard is doing like 60% less damage with less opportunities to trigger it. I looked at some leaked data for an upcoming Pure Fiction stage and in there, a single soda dog is listed for 78788 health. So the already bloated health pool will have a healthy +33% added on top. The stage hazard/buff has better be really good or it could be an even worse Pure Fiction than what we currently have. I will definitely permanently quit the game at some point if the power creep continues unabated. They made Robin the single most overtuned, overpowered unit in the entire game and are now balancing health pools around her existence it seems. If Sunday turns out even more broken than Robin currently is, health pools will likely just continue to bloat and bloat without limit.
I agree 100%, PF is probably the mode with most power creep. They included 4 enemies on field starting around 2.0, but that usually for one side of PF. This is the first time they did this to both side of PF. Thanks for the testing! Yes I felt the same, usually the PF damage is enough to clean up the field but now it barely did 1/3 of HP. Devs increases HP again for new 5 star most likely, I don't like how strong the harmony characters are, and you can't clear content without them is crazy to me. I do understand why they did it this way, it's because harmony characters make every dps looks good even Arlan or Dan Heng. And like you said, designed endgames assuming people have all harmony characters is not health for the game in general. The best way to play the game is to get 10 or 11 star, then save for characters you like instead of getting all meta characters, I don't think it's worth it to get character just for a endgame mode.(wasting both jades, level up materials, etc)
That's why this PF is much challenging than usual. It's the 4 mobs per wave lol, less energy per turn, less blessing charges, more turn overall. Even with 5* PF units I'm still struggling 💀yo wtf Hoyo
"I have cheated" Naaaaaaah. It's on Hoyo for designing the buffs as weak as they are. Almost like they desperately want to sell the current and next banner or something. 🌚 Honestly, Star Rail isn't like Genshin where you have a lot of flexibility on which units you can use to clear post game content. Not when Star Rail make modes that a more tailor made for certain types of units, and especially when they make a break PF when we have no good multi-target break units for 4 stars. Still, bit of a s**t decision to design this PF like this when it's going to limit how people are able to clear it (though completely unsurprising that this happened from a gacha company).
Funny thing is that they made a mode for Erudition, then proceed to limit 4 enemies on field. It doesn't make sense for some hunt characters got better score than erudition character. I agree that 4 stars should be stronger, as they are more rare than 5 star now, and people realize it costs more to get e6 4 star. Yes, we will get e6 4 star eventually but it might not worth it to build them after a few patches due to how much powercreep in star rail

@@nikhi4091 basically you want to use ult outside of the character’s turn, it reduces about 20 action value on the action bar on the top left. A good way to make the character moves again very soon, good on supports or damage dealer with low energy cost
Did you test Xueyi/Serval or Xueyi/Herta on side 1? I'm going to have trouble on this side for my project, but can't commit resources to xueyi unless I'm actually sure that it works :(
I did both, Xueyi/Serval with FUA buff, both are not doing good damage. Xueyi/Herta with 3rd buff (for the dino and hound), same problem with not enough damage, and Xueyi's ult being single target/high energy cost. Some alternative teams: Herta Pela Tingyun March 7th, or Serval Hanya Tingyun March 7th hunt (farm for RNG without sustains). I tried superbreak Serval too, not very good without Ruan Mei. Robin + March 7th hunt + Herta is probably the lowest cost on first half to get max score
ur second half would probably have gotten 40k if the asta bounces at the end went to the left elite instead of cocolia or if u used gallagher basic atk on the left elite so that asta would have gotten the break but still almost 40k is insane especially without ruan mei on that team

People are not wrong, it's really hard without meta characters or even with them. This PF is a lot more harder compared to the previous one, hopefully we can get better 4 star for PF mode. More challenge in game is never a bad thing

eagle set with 4 to 6 spd are good enough. I would say I farmed this set for 3-4 months

try to build 70-80 crit, my Hemiko had buff from Planetary Rendezvous and Cosmos Fell LC.
You can replace Asta with Ruan Mei if you have her

I've asked around for help on hoyolab and people straight up told me to give up and not bother unless I have meta teams or Robin/Ruan Mei (which escaped me). This hurt my ego so bad, I swear, to have good teams with fave chars perform so SO badly out of nowhere, I really thought I lost all skills and just suck now. Eugh. My apologies for all mememe talk, still really upset about this one, so it's understandable how much of hеll this one is and can't blame anyone doing challenges for "cheating"
People are not wrong, it's really hard without meta characters or even with them. This PF is a lot more harder compared to the previous one, hopefully we can get better 4 star for PF mode. More challenge in game is never a bad thing
