RC4WD Excavator and Lowboy Trailer towed by Custom Tamiya Grand Hauler

The 1/14th scale lowboy trailer from RC4WD was the perfect fit to my heavy equipment fleet! I blew the dust off the 1/12th scale hydraulic excavator and loaded it up for a quick trial run in my way too small back yard. The semi seemed to handle the 47lb excavator no problem. If you want to save a bit of a pain, you can take a same size thread yet Phillips head bolt, this way you can use a screw gun with extension on low clutch settings etc to run that lock pin in and out of the neck of the trailer. I was going to make mine into a full working release system.

Awesome truck! How did you stretch frame? Was it a kit? I just bought a Grand Hauler & wanna do a stretch along with a 3rd axle.
