- Say what you want about Kandi, but one thing you can't deny is her vocal prowess. Though at times Kandi has been known to overdue, the consistency of her vocals, whether its from the bottom of her range to the stop, is unmatched.
Make sure you check out her new album, Kandi Koated in stores now.
YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I been waiting for somebody to do this. Her vocals from bottom to top. From lower register, to belting, to head voice, to whistle is on POINT! Love her. What about the note @ the end of "Leave U" when she did the lil vocal slide run, & she was like "yeah e yay" @ 4:01 of the song. I heard it was a B2 as well thou. Anyway, I love the video
I love the depth in her range, it's amazing she can stretch her vocals so much! Though at times her tone doesn't always set well with me, she still has pretty amazing technique! I wish I could have seen her perform in the musical "Chicago", I bet her voice was amazing in it and not so stylized like in Xscape or her solo stuff! I feel like she thins her voice out too much and while it sounds good on some things, it's too much for other things! I almost would bet her voice in Chicago was probably fuller and rounder sounding! That's where I think her voice would have a better tone, I wish she'd record in that vocal area more; and then to include within the harmonies the falsetto/head voice and up to her whistle register! Just a better mixing of those two! I honestly feel like we haven't heard the best of her yet!
2:14-2:21 is beautiful and ethereal sounding!
imo this is what aaliyah's voice would've grown into if she was still alive
strong low notes
good 5th octave belts but generally stronger in the 4th octave
and a soaring headvoice
She hit that F6# made effortless she can go mad higher.
Her vibrato takes away a from what her voice could be but she can sing
I guess it's the vibrato that throws me off sometimes
Love her voice! She can sang!
she also has a high note in xscape's song understanding
i could have swore she hit a F#5 or F5 in kandi koated!
My ONLY Complaint Would Be That You Didn't Include NONE Of Her Prior Work W/ Xscape, B/c She Hits Even More & High Notes In Those Songs....I Take That Back You Include One (My Little Secret)....
And Understanding
OH! I was gonna do this!!!
GREAT JOB!!! :D
@islandlife89 A.) I don't use a song more than twice B.) It wasn't necessary and C.) I try to keep my videos under 3 minutes :-)
@TheMakeupMistress If You Saw My Second Reply (Which The 1st One, I Wasn't Finish W/) I Go On To Say He Only Included "My Little Secret", But Again, She Hit Another Whistle Note In "Understanding" & Showcased A Lot Of Her Lower Range On The Xscape Albums, Which Weren't Featured In The Video.....
Her tone can be a bit jarring, but she has a really nice voice.
She’s a mezzo Sopranoe
Light lyric soprano
@@reggiemitchell5198 you know I’ve actually been rethinking this recently as well I’m starting to think the same thing too 🤔
@@Trixiesongzxoxo yeah her voice sits fairly high to be a mezzo
Contralto
@@reggiemitchell5198 she's mezzo like Beyonce
@LifeisMusic07 Its actually a D3. But she does hit a couple of B2 in her verse on Superwoman.
@LifeisMusic07 omg. listen to it! It features Tiny and its really good.
My ONLY Complaint Would Be That You Didn't Include NONE Of Her Prior Work W/ Xscape, B/c She Hits Even More & High Notes In Those Songs....

azalea bitvh SoundCloud
@iWurk & oh, my friend told me it was a B2. Idk y.
@iWurk don't you mean C#3
@AaliyahDawnTEAM She's definitely a dramatic contralto since her low notes have so much depth and resonance. She also has a lot of weight and power in her chest and mixed voice.
@iWurk so why it wasnt included?
@iWurk I will, I mean I did buy the album *smh* Shame on me..lol
@iWurk C#3?
no such thing as Cb5
