That's a tad surprising, cause it sounds more like a ALLB song than a DGD song. Although, that probably makes sense, since he joined them very shortly after getting booted

Seeing kurt’s progression from when he was with DGD initially makes me wish he would collaborate with them more. Him and Tillian complement each other very well
Jonny and Tilian too, they've done a couple songs together.
I mean, you can tell from the 10th anniversary performances of Uneasy Hearts alone that the three together are a fucking dynamic triplet.
Probably quartet with Mess in the mix.
we need the trio man. I watched that Uneasy performance before I listened to the album all the way through. DBM3 should be a thing but I doubt it will happen. Still this is a nice touch

I was talking to Kurt on his Eternity Forever tour and he said that Will sent him the backing track and told him to do whatever he wanted on it so he wrote and recorded his part and sent it back and Tilian and Jon filled in the blanks around what he did

In an alternate universe Tillian joined Saosin off of the demo he did and Kurt and Jonny kept alternating albums. Jonny eventually reconciled with Emarosa rejoining for an album and then left again for Slaves making Kurt the set lead vocalist for DGD. Donavan from Hail the Sun occasionally features on drums and vocals. Life is good.
After listening to whole album, this and Count Bassy stand above the rest. Nice to hear Kurt again, unsung hero of DGD for holding it together. His style always fit really well, shows once more here.
They need to bring Kurt back for more songs. Kurt and Tilian mesh so well in this.

More like since the beginning (my opinion, although I'll admit that I was in denial and I did have to get used to the change with Tilians voice but as I recall after that point I honestly thought that I'd never have them ahead of my fav deftones and I sure do with a slight edge. DGD can be on repeat and It won't get old, hell we'll just sing along.
It's funny how you just listen to the music and love it but then slow down and take in the lyrics and it hits you hard in the feels and gets so so much better.
