Thanks mate, appreciate the kind words. Yeah it’s come ( coming ) along nicely with just enough little goodies without being over the top. Thanks again champ 😉👍
Looking forward to seeing the final setup always Satisfying to do your own upgrades and save a bit of money as well like you said spend it on something else great work mate 🇦🇺👍
I've got one of those slides. Good, but make sure they're perfectly square, or they don't latch properly when extended (any slide really). Guess how I know. Cheers
Yeah that can get a little wobbly too when you pull them in and out if they’re not truly square. Mine seems to be working okay, it does lock when it’s fully extended most of the time but every now and then it doesn’t so I’m not sure whether it’s worth unscrewing it and seeing if it is a bit out of or not 🤷🏻♂️👍
The battery you mention, the 135Ah battery no up to spec, I was wondering what load tester was used. I'm always looking for test equipment for capacity (either Ah or Wh), even if it's technician/workshop level. I like the dog boxes. We've been looking for a solution ourselves.
Thanks mate for the comments ... yeah I took it to a battery specialist down the road from work and he did a ‘bench’ test with a load tester and it came up with only 40 amp hours. The company I bought it from look like they’ve vanished into the middle of the night with nothing but a lot of peoples hard earned cash and a trail of very annoyed reviews in productreview.com.au They changed names and then just cleared out, I did some ASIC searching and they’re as dodgy as they come 😡😡 And yes, they’re great boxes - I’m absolutely stoked with them 👍👍🇦🇺
@@4WheelingInNSW I've bought 10 x 135Ah batteries over 12 months ago. Two for the wagon, eight for the house batteries, which get cycled daily. I test all new batteries with an Autel battery tester. I tells me volts, mΩ and CCA, but not Ah, though I do use the CCA rating as a reference to see if the battery is deteriorating over time. It's usual for the AGMs I get to be 12.95-13.10V, 4.50-4.70mΩ and 580-600CCA when new. I tested the eight on the house last month and they have hardly changed, maybe down 0.05V and about 20CCA. Still ok for a year's worth of use and daily cycling.
@@Michael_Mears yeah sweet. Sounds like that would keep you busy mate 😁 I do believe you can test the load, somehow, with a multimeter too but when I tried it I must’ve done something wrong as I fried my multimeter 🤣
great series, but iid disagree, the kings brand has made getting out there more affordable, when i was a young bloke i would have killed to get cheap affordable gear haha
Thanks for the comments mate, yeah I agree as far as getting more people out and about affordably for sure, just got to pick and choose their products, some is good and some is rubbish. I don’t mind some of their stuff, I just don’t like the company behind it due to their business morals and customer service … or lack there of 🤣👍 cheers bud
🤣 no mate, certainly not - takes a bit more than that too ward me off. I even went to the extent of setting up a tarp and awning over the top as we’ve had 3 months of solid rain which kind of puts a stop to filming. That was part 1 just explaining what and why I’m doing what I’m doing. 😉👍
Well done, really great to see you back with another video. Bring it on. Cheers
Oh thanks mate, I really appreciate that. Thanks champ 👍👍
Getting there Grant. Cheers Steve
