Waiting for the worst opinion to come out of rory as always
That’s his revenue strategy
Was actually quite nuanced to be fair
Relegation battle between Ipswich, Chelsea and Southampton will be one for the history books.. It'll be massively crazy.. Can't wait 🔥
He supports Chelsea via hating it
Exactly... Rory just have the worst takes
Rory having to do a u-turn on Poch is glorious.
But he hasn't. His opinion since his appointment has been the same. The timing and reasoning is his issue not the sacking in particular.
He hasnt. Rory never wanted Poch and doesnt rate him. However he gave Poch credit for the season which many Chelsea fans think was better than was expected.
Rory and u-turns is the rule, not the exception though. No one is surprised.
@jackhewitt600 Its due to that last 5 games otherwise majority wanted him sacked a month ago.
@@jackhewitt600I’m not giving him no credit, I’m giving all the credit to palmer gusto and Caicedo being amazing lol
“Top 4 seems impossible” - Villa got 68pts and Chelsea got 63pts.
Stranger things have happened Rory, jeez.
It ca definilty happen but i think getting rid of poch was a big mistake basically gets you back to square one. You seem to have infinite pockets though so maybe you will sign another 400 mil worth of players but I think getting maresco has made it almost impossible to get top 4/5
@@edpurdy1808 clearly not impossible. I agree it was a backwards step.
That was after an amazing run towards the end of the season and a terrible run from Aston Villa.
I think to say that top 4 feels miles away when you are competing with clubs like spurs Newcastle and Man Utd for the 4th spot is probably accurate. It’s going to be another season of intervention and learning because of the new manager. Rory can often be a victim of hyperbole but this isn’t one of this occasions in my opinion.
@@dgfrd1573 history tells us it will be incredibly difficult for Villa to do it again.
Liverpool could easily have another season where they fall away - they had two of them under Klopp so they’re even more likely to under a new manager.
Spurs have only been good for about 2 months under Ange. Honeymoon period over.
No reason to think Chelsea are much more likely to finish below Newcastle and Man Utd.
5th place will probably be CL as it would have been 8 out of the last 10 seasons.
yes,,Chelsea was 5 points away from 4th ..and 3 points away from 8th.
the fact that Rory represents chelsea fans anywhere is just so sad! he is too flaky
@@Colonelstickmustard_sorry but no way was tory rory supporting chelsea in the 1980's like you say I doubt he was even alive in that era he doesnt look that old either its far more likely that he is a glory hunter 🤣
He’s a classic Chelsea fan. Perfect representative. Deserves nothing just like their fan base
@@acenmitch1048 so when you say he is a classic chelsea fan m8 do you mean entitled and thinks that he has a god given right to see chelsea winning the league every season sort of vibe 🤔 because that is how he comes across from my point of view I dont know many chelsea fans tho that is just how I see mr jennings🤣
@@Colonelstickmustard_ well if he did m8 then fair enough but I do not know how old he is really so I dont know for sure how long he has been a chelsea fan🤔 however he sounds a bit like a glory hunting plastic to me tho when he talks about chelsea thats all are you a chelsea fan then?
@@Colonelstickmustard_you think he’s plus 49 years of age? 😂😂😂
Always find it really jarring how sometimes Rory wants to sound like an 18th century dandy and then other times he wants to sound like an east end geezer.
comes from being a child actor i reckon
"I dont like Poch"..."We were playing the best football in years after winning 5 in a row." Not liking Poch after finally getting a tune and him getting outted by owners is insane
He never liked poch you have to respect the fact he stuck to that he's a Tottenham man
@unclebensrice4702 if he's signed for one of Spurs' rivals then I don't consider him a Spurs man. If, like he said, is top 20 managers in the world...then old allegiances shouldn't get in the way
Omg Rory all fucking season SACK POCH SACK POCH SACK POCH. Now "I think sacking him was CLEARLY the wrong decision". Man I wish I got paid for the random useless stuff he does haha. The one Chelsea fan I cringe when watching haha. I wish we had a better/cooler rep.
for a Chelsea fan, it’s shocking how out of touch with their club Rory is.
imagine a club and a manager deciding their futures based on Conor Gallagher & Trevor Chalobah.
You're clearly missing the point. The club is explicitly going against the manager and making sporting decisions that are against his wishes and the good of the team. Whatever you think of Gallagher, he was our captain this season, played well and made the most appearances. Chalobah improved us when he came into the team and is far better than Disasi and Badiashile. No manager will accept working in an environment where footballing decisions are made on his behalf even when he is against them.
Rory just talking for clickbait now, you’ve been calling for Poch to be sacked every week and now it’s a mistake 😂
The abruptness of the super 6 adverts is very irritating
Such a baby, grow up
Cry more, princess
@@renderxtravels8464 settle down
@@renderxtravels8464 ooh you're hard 😂
@joshzulu8444 says you, can't even show your fan. Is that from WOW? Time to grow up, neckbeard
Man, that Rory dude is like a cartoon.
How much does Penguin pay Rory? Maybe he thinks he’s supposed to be cartoonish like the penguins dancing on all his shirts??
Rory: "The fans hated him, I hated him, we were disastrous 90% of the year, we needed to keep him!" The flip flopping is unrivaled
Pep has made every manager think they're a chain-smoking philosopher.
Rory has done nothing but wax lyrical about how good Arsenal are and how great of a job Arteta has done, but now its not enough. Rory has done nothing but slander and ridicule Poch and Chelsea all season, but a small run of form at the end of the year and he needs to stay.
I also find it odd that when people talk about arteta they don't mention how hey we're 8th the first year and a half of his tenure and 5th the following season. It takes time for tactics to be implemented into the team and I know chelsea during the roman era had a very manager in and out system and it worked but I think that's down to a core of players who know each other and how they think where as now it's 20 new players getting to know each other's game and the tactics at the same time.
Thomas Frank has achieved more as a manager than De Zerbi - he helped build Brentford, De Zerb inherited a successful project and improved it for half a season.
Brighton didn’t have European football until de zerbi tho and he got an alr season considering they sold their entire midfield
de zerbi also took sassuolo to 8th in serie a twice in a row, you know football exists outside the premier league right?
Brentford are trash. Proper btec football club
are you regarded lmao de zerbi took brighton to 6th - their highest in the clubs history and had them at the top of the prem last season until suffering the 2nd most injuries in the entire league over the season while losing their entire midfield
Another EPL only fan. Check his record with Shaktar Donetsk
Rory was screaming for poch out all season and they do it and he wants to back track 😂😂
I might be wrong but I feel like the reason he was sacked/ left was cos Chelsea fans… like Rory were calling for his head all season … (until he was sacked) 😅
i also think the hiring of the set piece coach from brentford was also a factor, Poch has his people and will hire his own people, being told to work with someone who isnt your guy could have also caused a divide
Rory is a bellend.
soo much more enjoyable when you don't have someone interrupting the conversation to talk about Newcastle
'best football since hazard' has Rory completely the football under Tuchel and the champions league win 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Our football under Tuchel was never good to watch. It was effective and pragmatic but not aesthetically the most beautiful brand of football.
@@areebsiddiqui758 did you watch our champions league games upto the final? We literally dominated every game 😂
@@Abbabababababababab By dominate if you mean nicking a goal and then parking the bus for the rest of the game then yeah. We were a solid and tough side who were really difficult to beat. We don't score a lot and usually only needed 1 or 2 goals to win a game because of how strong our defense was. But you don't need to lie and say we were exciting to watch cause we weren't.
@@areebsiddiqui758 I don't know what game you watched honestly.. Possession was nearly 50/50, we took more shots, more shots on targets, we had all the bigchances.. We should've made it 2-0 second half. The best players were our attacking players..if we parked the bus our back line would've got the attention
@@Abbabababababababab I'm not only talking about the final which btw was a really boring game. Not sure why reading off a bunch of statistics is going to change that in any way. Also, having possession doesn't mean you're playing exciting football. Chelsea were really efficient under Tuchel's system. We were defensively resolute and a had a clear plan and shape. But i don't know why you are so desperate to try and prove we played beautiful football when we clearly didn't. Chelsea's identity has always been defensively strong and tough to beat, whether that was under Jose, Conte or Tuchel.
We're not Barcelona, we don't care about playing nice football. We care about winning.
Man memories are short. Does nobody remember Levi left back? Or Chilwell at left wing.? Constantly playing Sterling when he was out of form. Basically exiling noni until the last 10 games of the season. The horrendous defense. The lack of Plan B. His inability to get the best out of Enzo. Goes on and on and on. Since he got a couple nice results none of that matters anymore? Not to mention the worst part of it all is that he didn’t even want Palmer, meanwhile Cole is doing everything to save this man
Rory is the worst Chelsea fan.
He’s not a manager, he’s a head coach.
They want to turn Chelsea into the Benfica/Ajax model because they make so much profit.
Rory is such a poor mouth piece for the club he hasn’t got any clue what he’s on about and everything he says it filled with contradictions, him being unsure about maresca is good cos he’s famous for his poor predictions.
I'm brazilian and don't worry about signing Estevão Willian, Rory! I've watched the kid and he's very good! He'll obviously need to adapt to the league but the talent is definitely there!
Rory the most deluded Chelsea fan. You know nothing about the game.
i hate it how amateur pundits always disregards lower league managers' achievements... what is more difficult.. getting brentford from a mediocre championship club to a pretty established premier league club spending pennies.. or winning trophies with the best players in the world..???? thomas frank, marcelo bielsa, kieran mckenna and managers like them are the real gems..!
Idk, it feels like if you extend that logic far enough you would be arguing that Mckenna promoting Ipswich was more impressive than Ancelotti winning the double. They're just two different environments that require two different types of personnel.
@@govindsomadas2866Well yeah technically. But you wouldn't extend it that far would you? Nobody would
Enzo Maresca's blue and white army...
Fight me.
Headed for mid table.
Rory 200 IQ
..and white?
@@Cbart23top 4 easy
Next year I'm going to be welcoming Championship.
Asking this question every season or so.
Rory’s question about people wanting younger managers who haven’t accomplished anything has a simple answer: the era of the manager is over unless you’re a subpar club that might be willing to hand the keys to a manager and give total control because you have nothing to lose. If you’re a champions league level club, you’re not hiring managers. You’re hiring a head coach. People like Jose and Tuchel and now Poch have proven they are unwilling to accept that role, so there’s no point in wanting to hire someone who will not want to do the job and end up fired.
Completely agree with Rory re: Leicester. Highest wage bill seen outside the premier league in England. Retained some super players. So close to bottling it. I think praise off the back of Leicester promotion should be wary
Bayern Munich have made an approach about signing Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes, 29, from Manchester United
I don't understand why they think Thomas Frank isn't one of the best managers in the premier league. Top 5.
sorry but i don't understand why you do
@@hammer164 because i watch a lot of football, whats your excuse?
Honestly it’s sometimes incredible to think Rory is a Chelsea fan at times. For someone who’s followed Chelsea longer than I’ve been alive, he sounds like someone who started supporting his club last season. Guy hasn’t a clue about football or his club
Managers have basically become like players where potential adds more value than reality. That's why lower club managers try to play from the back and press... look at Kompany for example. Clubs look at that style and think it suits their squad of much better players. It's not a guarantee at all though as we have seen.
Inzaghi is that next level coach, everyone is sleeping on him but to me he is the third best coach in the world right now
I'd put money on Rory actually being partially involved in Poch's sacking, in leading as a face of the chelsea fans; a year long campaign for Poch's head. No way it hasn't played a part.
If I was stranded on a desert island with Rory and a pineapple Id eat Rory and talk to the pineapple.
Rory your comparison to the London housing market is a terrible take!! Mudryk,Fernandes and Caicedo will not and are not increasing in value, you need to stop using that analogy, sorry mate 🤷🏼♂️
thats not the point, european football is extremely undervalued currently, and boely wants to take advantage of that
Caicedo had a fantastic season.
Only casuals who didn’t watch him would say different.
@@choke9270I think OP means that the value won't increase not necessarily the performances. I love how Caicedo plays but Chelsea won't earn a profit from selling him (if they sell him).
@@dyoutube439That's exactly what I meant 👍🏻
The correlation between successful managers having their assistants becoming successful in the future is real. For example, here in Australia, Alastair Clarkson, a 4 time premiership (title) winning coach has had 3 assistant coaches go on and become premiership coaches at other clubs themselves. I understand Rory’s point of having to beat City by reinventing the wheel, but sometimes the system is near on flawless, and the only way to top it is just through better execution.
we were not playing that well even in those 5 wins. Bournemouth and Forest games were the usual
Poch got Chelsea into a cup final and Europe, saying the expectation is Silverware or Top 4 isnt obscure at all
Rory, you talk about managers being hyped and doing 'nothing'. Pochettino is the epitome of that. I agree his sacking was unfair, especially considering who is replacing is.
Sacking Poch was the correct choice nothing will ever change that, 5 games should never save any manager he failed drastically at Chelsea and he was taking us no where
Rory always comparing buying players to buying property doesn't make any sense, property will go up because the property is the value, players only as valuable as his ability, Palmer will be the only player that's gone up in value because his the only one who's ability is becoming valuable
Rory got it spot on. No one is ever gonna out so Pep and that because everyone is too busy trying copy him and play him at his own game rather than find a way to best his system. The only manager who had best him multiple times in big stages is ancolotti
Calling Arteta a B-Tech Guardiola is lazy, Arteta is far more defence first
Chelsea sacking you basically secures you and your team life changing money so even if it ends badly it doesnt,
Don’t get the shade towards Thomas Frank at all. Dude has done an incredible job at Brentford
Miles comment about Jose just goes to show you the state of modern football and how much its in the gutter. Okay Jose has got his flaws but he is one of the best managers of all time and quite recently guided Roma to thier very first European trophy, but yet he will sit there in his Arsenal shirt blowing smoke up Arteta's crack. No football hasn't moved on from Jose because he keeps winning and that's the aim of football to win
They hired a manager and wanted a Head coach, they want them to coach and ask for a position and the team will choose the players, Poch wanted to chose his players
How to take out money when by contract you cant take any dividend for the first 10yrs. Sure Clearlake wants to make money with the club at some point. But my guess would be bring the club to the US Stockmarket. Hence why the club goes on a US Tour pre season. Build the brand over there is priority no.1 atm for these owners. And think about since when we started the US pre season thingy.
Rory once again chatting out his ass, if Maresca wins his first 5 you’ll see a post on his YT headlined with “why Chelsea will win the premier league”
Saying Chelsea is taking arsenal route is bizarre cause arsenal never changed ownership. I come in peace
It's of no surprise the level of managers Chelsea were looking at. Simply because they don't want a manager. They want a Head Coach. Someone with no standing, that the board can just say, "this is your squad, get the most out of it". They don't want someone getting attached to players
poch was on track to get chelsea top 4 next season based off the second half of the season so you’d only sack him if u could get a manager who could win u a league which isn’t available right now. The only managers out there right now are probably klopp and zidane, anyone else has no chance at beating pep to the league so they may aswell of kept poch for next season atleast, then if he gets europa league or lower u could have a conversation and look at the managers available then
if adam mckola doesnt rate a manager, it means he's really good. Thomas Frank is a good manager with a crap squad
Thomas frank suits Brentford
Rory give the guy a chance before you slate him. I’ll be here when you’re praising him when he wins
Rory has found a clever hairstyle for hiding his bald patch. Give us all tips bro.
I used to love the Kickoff which eventually got me here to The club, but I absolutely cannot stand listening to Rory anymore. It’s so obvious the click baity and hypocritical approach he takes to every opinion; not to mention the contestant repetition of the same phrases and talking over people all the time. Have to unsubscribe, can’t stand him!
Jose is still the most disrespected/Underrated manager there is.
Miles saying the game moved on from Jose is wild. Still the most successful since Fergie at UTD. Euro cup with Roma etc.
Unironically miles should be a main stay on the pod love his input
They didn’t get rid of poch it was a mutual agreement
Don't have an issue with them sacking poch. I thought he did well managing the team but when people thought of Chelsea what was the style of football that they thought about when we had poch? When we had Tuchel there was a style. When people talk about Liverpool, there's a style, City, there's a style, arsenal, there's a style. We were just beating mid table teams. I'm ok with taking a risk. Good businesses take risks. If it doesn't work then we try something new
Rory on his high horse about how De Zerbi is rated by football community but has won nothing to defend his point about how Pochettino is a top 15 world manager - even though he has won what? Nothing
Rory does not represent us Chelsea fans. I believe Todd and Clearlake have a positive vision for the club, not just profit making, but the appointments haven’t been good. The transfers have been excellent
I recall Anchelotti getting sacked for coming second. Am I seeing a Chelsea fan complain because a manager with no clear pattern of play got sacked for coming 6th?
Sacking Anchelotti for finishing second was Abramovich worst decision during his entire ownership. Best attacking football we have seen. Maresca needs to get top 4 at the very minimum
Last time before Poch Chelsea won 5 in row in league was under Tuchel.
They sacked him too.
Rory is why football fans arent taken seriously
When talking about managers today, the really good ones are very few in number. So it has come to signing coaches who are developing good teams and having an attacking brand of football. In that sense De Zerbi is a good choice for a big team who is looking for a coach. I mean I have no idea why Bayern brought in Kompany but that is the state of the market when it comes it coachs. Carlo Ancelloti wasn't a great coach when he got famous at AC Milan, he got sacked at every team he has been too. So don't put Carlo on pedestal, he is a good coach but would do terrible at Chelsea. There isn't any stability at the club for him to then perform.
Ten Haag would have been fired if we didn’t win the FA Cup final. The fact they haven’t made announcement about his position as manager after winning it speaks volumes about what they were planning.
The board have seen the other Pep assistances doing bits and signed a manager who got sacked by parma in 20 games and scrapped the championshio with a mid table prem team
Roma forward Paolo Dybala is open to a move to the Premier League this summer.
Dybala is thought to have a €12m (£10.2m) release clause in his contract that is valid until July 31
Pep has evolved the game but not on his own. He has lead the development of a methodology in training that is so replicatable in games that it significantly increases the chances of success. Enzo has been appointed because he has proven capable of implementing this methodology.
Same reason Vincent Kompany got the Bayern job. Arteta, Xabi Alonso, De Zerbi are all doing the same thing. These are guys with relationships who share and discuss ideas and by doing so refine their approach to the point they are advantaged by access to a superior, tried & tested, way of working.
Out of sudden they invited a fan who thinks he’s a billionaire
This is what is wrong with Chelsea football club... They want quick results... But its natural in football to give time and let them adapt
Now he adapted but the fans and club did not back him when its most wanted... Good for us though
I know poch wanted Gallagher but do people really think he’d give he’s job up for them two midders?
So Rory's whole argument is Maresca isn't a big enough name to manage Chelsea. Shocking how this guy is a representative of our club.
I'm not Chelsea but he only represents Chelsea if u support him, the fact ur watching and commenting on his clips is what makes him a representative
Rory is God, respect him, clown
We are going down with Maresca championship incoming
Winning conference league is a must
What even is some fukin conference league
it took 20 secs for Rory to fold on everything he was saying during the season 🤣
Weird blend of Ten Hag and Pep 😂😂😂
Hearing Rory talk about Chelsea is such a punish. Bloke hasn’t got a clue. “All they care about is making money” yeah lad that’s why they’ve spent a billion quid yeah? Top bellend.
enzo maresca, coached under pep and played with zizou 🤔
Rory should be happy
Christ he really is a muppet isn’t he?
Rory thinks we looked great end of the season lol jokes. Btw, just accepting a "top 20 manager" at a club like chelsea is so stupid. Finished 5 points off top 4 with a disgraceful manager in charge and a growing squad
OH MY GOD IT GETS BETTER. WE FOUND RYTHM WHEN CHALOBAH ENTERED THE SQUAD AND SACKED OVER GALLAGHER??? LMFAOOO THESE COBHAMSEXUALS ARE SO DELUDED. After over 1bn pounds spent he genuinely thinks it's a money grab lol. Some rival fans are starting to clock what we're building but someone these creators keep pushing this clueless narrative bc their mates are getting sold
Rory has been Poch out all season and then we go our separate ways with him and then he’s dumbfounded. Make up your mind bro

@@unclebensrice4702 yeah mate im lying to flex losing a bet, you got me
Thats a nice top Rory's wearing...white with a bird on it...very Spursy.
i agree with rory...chelsea have never been a team tht has had a footballing philosophy or a consistent playing style.....when u think of chelsea....u think of a team thts solid at the back......with a hard working midfield.....a lethal attack thts devastating on the counter....they do whatever is neccessary to win a game....whether its defending throughout the whole 90...or playing an aggressive attacking style in certain games.....thts why they have often done well in knockouts...they usually adapt well to the opposition....which is y carlo, conte nd mourinho fit the bill very well....the problem was the owners where a little bit too ruthless in sacking them early.....i think modern day fans r too infatuated with a playing style as if tht guarantees success....well the biggest team in team in the world dont have a particular playing style...nd tht is real madrid
No. There we go, video done.
Rory you are shameless, biggest U turn I've ever seen
Chelsea should hire the cook at least they can go back to cooking after Chelsea ruin them.
Rory the same man who wanted Roman gone, wanted Tuchel gone and wanted Poch gone. Guys a flip flop.
Ngl, I like Rory, but I've actually started to get irritated by how he completely changes his stance and how contradictory he is. I tend to avoid the videos when he talks about Chelsea now. He's still alright when he comments on other teams or just football in general, even though some of this views are mental - but I can cope with it, and you can tell he's a bit of a laugh and all round sound lad. I don't even mind mental takes like Haaland being a flop, but when you are so passionate about wanting something and then when it happens you are passionately now on the opposite side of the fence, just because its a decision that was made by someone you dislike, it's very immature.
Another example is when he disliked Poch from the very beginning and said it was because he was "too Tottenham", but frothed at the mouth at the thought of Kane coming to Chelsea.
