Tami I agree with Liz S. you have to try the golden grahams they are delish, and I think they are a little bit bigger than some of the others. I don't think you will be disappointed.
And I hope you don't allow those who judge you to make you top doing these videos. I really enjoy them and am slightly confused as to why other believe that they can force you to change how you live your life. That is the problem with today's world, people worry more about others than themselves!
+karahamil I also made a comment and agree with karahamil. Were not complaining. We just care about safety. Especially with working out, you need protein to build and keep your muscles functioning. You also need nutrients from fruits and veggies. I know they don't taste fantastic but sometimes taste doesn't always matter in health. We are just worried. We aren't complaining. You can eat as much junk as you want, just add extra nutrients, You won't gain, you'll maintain because especially if you eat lean health food you'll absorb all of the nutrients and still eat the not so good processed food you love. That's what I do.
+karahamil I understand what you're both saying but let me tell you that im sure tami already knows this and most likely doesn't care what you two have to say. lol honestly don't think you're making any kind of impact. let her live her life without so many people giving their two cents.
+Julie Lepley Your point makes sense. I just feel since I myself had a battle with anorexia that others should focus more on the nutrients in food rather than calories. But she doesn't have to listen to me.
Hello Tami, how many calories do you eat a day to maintain your weight? And how many calories do you remove if you want to make a diet or to lose a weight gained during an excess? A last question: how your family perceive your way of eating?
+jacques vanessa These videos are kind of deceptive because when I know that I'm filming, I write everything down and make certain that I don't go over 1200 calories. When I'm not keeping track, I'm POSITIVE it is closer to 1600 a day. I eat more when I'm not filming unfortunately. 5 days a week, I eat 1500-1600 calories each day. On What I Ate Wednesday it is 1200 and one day a week, I don't count calories at all. Those are the days where we eat out and graze all day and night. On those days I'm sure I have close to 3000 calories. If I wanted to lose weight, I would drop to 1000 calories for a few days. Since I am just maintaining my weight, I eat the aforementioned calories. Kevin and Ashley know that counting calories works. They don't say anything about the way that I eat. I think they are just used to it since I have been counting calories for 8 years.
+Tami Dunn that averages out to aprox 1750 a day (one day 1200, five days 1600, one day 3000). You should film on a day where you eat 1600 - just don't track everything like you normally do! I think it would be interesting to see :)
Your "What I Ate Wednesday" videos are some of my favourite videos that you make, and I hope you don't stop making them. I'd also love for Kevin or Ashley to make one some day!
Tami! i don't know how you do it. Id be starving if all i had for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack was candy or snack foods. I have to start my day with solid food like eggs and bacon or at least have a lunch of something Crazy ;-)
Tami, I mean no offence because you're great people and I love your videos, but... Tami you have an appalling diet !!! Literally just junk food all day long. There is just hardly any nutritional value whatsoever. As a viewer it would be so much nicer and more interesting to see you even just occasionally eating something healthy you had prepared and cooked yourself ! With maybe even vegtables in it ?
Thank you Tami. Really like your what I ate Wednesdays. You look good and it's nice to see how you make a roughly 1200 calorie day work for you. Best regards.
Hi Tami! I'm binge watching your "what I ate" videos. You're so much fun to watch! I love your attitude. Have you ever tried "Wink" ice cream? 100 calories for the whole pint. It's not that great but I liked the birthday cake well enough to spend a few calories on it. Virginia
+Always A Bob We don't have WINK in our area unfortunately. When I went to the store locator, it said "our closest location is more than 60 miles away".
I'm always curious how you manage to eat all the different foods you show in your reviews without eating too many calories daily, so these videos are so interesting! You are creative.
Do you ever keep count of fat, sugar & carb count or do you just go by calories? I'm asking because I look at them all and am wondering if going just by calorie count makes a difference?
I know its a little silly but what i do is "open face " sandwhiches lol makes me feel like im getting more. I take my bread and toast it. And i out my tuna on each slice it feels like 2 sandwhiches that way but its not😊 LOL
Hey Tami, I'm a new subsriber and am watching through your What I Ate videos. I was just wondering if your husband eats the same thing you do for dinner or is it just on WIAW that you Dont eat together? Just curious because I rarely see him in these. love these videos and really enjoying your reviews too!
realy good video but you should try adding in calories i gurantee if you add a couple 100 calories like eating 1400 or 1500 you wouldnt gain nothing mayebe 1lb and then it would go back down and then maybe try to slowly go to atleast 1800
Please don't stop making these videos, I also really enjoy them. You have said this is what works for you and I admire you for that. I have said before I am a calorie counter as well I eat what I want just watch the calories and I have now lost 135 pounds. I still want to lose around 60 more pounds to be at my ideal weight. I have lost this weight on my own no surgery, just exercise and counting my calories. So you continue doing what is best for you Tami I think you are fabulous, I just love you and your entire family. I can totally relate regarding weight loss, no judgement here.
Tami, I promise you that the Golden Grahams bar is worth the extra 30 calories - give it a try and cut the 30 calories elsewhere. If I'm wrong, I will take the blame for the recommendation, I promise that too :)
Damn people are super salty about your diet. I understand why you eat the way you do. It is easier to count calories when you eat packaged foods, plain and simple. It's easier for portion control as well. Personally, I would spend 1200 calories in different ways, just because I would rather eat larger portions and snack-y foods don't really fill me up - not because it is healthier to do so. But you have to do what works for you and what you enjoy. Almost everyone does things that are unhealthy in life. Whether that's spending, smoking, drinking, eating junk food, etc....no one should judge anyone else. One thing you do that I could never do is eat low-cal bread! If I'm eating a sandwich, I'm going to eat "real" bread, but if I want it to be lower cal I'll just have one slice (it would be 100 for one slice then instead of 70 for your two slices). But I'm not judging!
Shauna I understand what you're saying but from the comments I read it seems people just want to let her know that there is more to eating than counting calories. I sometimes count calories as well but I also make sure I eat nutrient dense foods. She may be getting fewer calories than the average person but where she is getting the calories from isn't the greatest. She's does not get them from nutritious sources at all which can contribute to deficiencies and other potential health issues. Plus she's probably getting a ton of sugar which isn't good for a variety of reasons. Even if you count calories it is best to get your calories from a nutrient dense source. It's not good getting all your calories from from junk food because you're not going to get much nutrients out of it. And you mention that everyone has something unhealthy they do in life which may be true, but that doesn't mean you have to continue to have unhealthy habits. I just think if you want to live a long and healthy life then it's best to be as healthy as you can be, but different strokes for different folks.
Tami I agree with Liz S. you have to try the golden grahams they are delish, and I think they are a little bit bigger than some of the others. I don't think you will be disappointed.
+Wanda Hardee I'm going to buy some this weekend :)

Hey Tami, where did you get the Wonka pops?
+Matt Covington The Ice Pops are from Kroger and the cones are from Meijer.
I'm always curious how you manage to eat all the different foods you show in your reviews without eating too many calories daily, so these videos are so interesting! You are creative.

I only look at calories. It makes things easier for me, but I do understand that some people have to count carbs and sugar.

Normally when I eat a tuna sandwich, he is eating a peanut butter sandwich. We eat all of meals together even if we are eating different foods :)
Lol chapel on the counter sneaky cat
I have no snacks however my calories intake is very similar to yours can you suggest any low calorie meals or snack you can get in the UK ?
I love baked chicken with salsa. We just had it tonight :)

+raymond perez I eat a lot more on the weekend. A good example of this is in our restaurant reviews.
If target carries those the day after Halloween they will be 30 percent off .
