But as you know, Harrier uses a perfect auto transmission from Hyundai and the same can not be used in Hector as per agreement between Tata and Hyundai. But MG should have developed a good automatic gearbox during the past three years. The same goes for Harrier petrol. Tata has no technology to develop a good petrol and auto combo. All these manufacturers have their limitations. But Mahindra is surely a leader in this and ahead of them.
MG cars are value for money and feels very premium.... I checked out their Astor... very nice vehicle. The only downside is poor fuel economy.
And thats main problem dear it doesn't cross 10

Good review Ravi ji. I am thinking the price for petrol should be starting from 19lk - 26lk and diesel 20lk - 27lk.
Top end diesel should be around 22L and petrol auto may also be in the same price band. MG will be aggresive in pricing and ADAS is not that expensive. With ADAS the price may be max 23L ex-showroom. This is what I feel.

Tesla and Mercedes also have similar or more features. Only because of MG we see ADAS, and other features like sunroof in similar segment of car. Gimmicks are eco normal sport or say zip zap zoom in other cars. For your info are these useless modes required ?? However MG diesel beats Harrier in Drag race. Test drive a MG Hector Diesel/petrol and see the difference.
@@KMA930 maybe your hector beat harrier but they share the same fiat source Diesel 2.0 engine along with Jeep compass but, what about drivability and handling, I didn't drove hector yet but it's complaint in engine and gimmicks tells a lot about MG. Take polo as an example, very minimal features but still a very popular product among enthusiasts. Every car should have an uniqueness. prsnlly I don't like hector the car is huge in length but the width of the car appeals hector small one.
@@iamrishabhbisht Bro, I know about Harrier as in our family we have Hector 2021, Harrier,2021 and Punch. Drivability of Hector is good. In Highways we have touched 100-120 without any probs in both Hector and Harrier. Punch has a noisy engine and we bought in 2022 Feb, for its SUV stance, nothing more than that. Its not MY HECTOR as you say, its Hector.
Edit : Hector has no Modes and you have to drive for econmy or power as you wish. In soft foot we get 18-20+ and in Harrier almost the same efficiency with driving modes. Above 100 both cars return 16.4-17 on highways. I dont show off and drive both cars in soft foot with care. Both have pros and cons. In fact Harrier is a nice car but has more cons. Own one to know the truth. I dont say Hector is perfect alrounder. In a long stretch Harrier cant match Hector and NVH of Hector is maginally better and has a better sound system.
You people say a lot about Polo, Vento. But how many of you bought one ? And the company has to discontinue the car. Easier said than done.
I know about 2.0L FCA engine. Yes, My Hector runs on 225/55R18 tyres in place of 215/55R18 stock. and that has improved stability in high speed. And which SUV has zero body roll ? UA-camrs and some viewers degrade a car without knowing much. May be either Harrier or Hector. Some even say Hector is a tin ka dabba. Poor guys.

Yess.....there is major change in performance, turbo sports give 130bhp with 230 nm torque whereas non sports variant give 110 bhp and 200nm torque in petrol.
if you like driving and can take hit on mileage then go for TGDI... if you are normal driver sometimes fun driving then normal w6 petrol...

Look is subjective. I felt the big grill is unnecessary and aftermarket like. All features are fine, but car feels underpowered compared to harrier or tiguan. In the segment, still urban cruiser hyrider is better, in reliability, mileage, looks, after sale service.

Nothing new.All the companies are doing the upgradation in same pattern. Better to say MG has copied. Example- Outside design resembles Ford Explorer or the new Everest or Hyundai Palisade, Interior dashboard looks same as Ford Mustang MACH E. Your caption said now everyone will start copying is objectionable.
