I am not sure I would want to pay £1000+ for it, but I got mine for £600, it's my 3rd mini-EV and I love it. I use it all the time, it has an amazing range (well over a 1.5hrs of riding time easily) and is a really comfy ride once you get used to the short deck - which does mean you have to adjust your stance. I also really like that I can adjust the max speed settings (I feel much safer at 20mph than 25), the folding handlebars are also great, it means I can put a shopping basket on the wide deck and wheel it around shops without the handlebars knocking things off the shelves or having a long cumbersome deck to navigate around the ends of illes. Unfortunately riding a privately owned electric scooter in the U.K is currently not legal. You can be done for driving a motorised vehicle without insurance. Due to electric scooters being classed in the same league as a car (which is madness) it needs to adhere to the rules and spec that makes it legal to ride on roads. @@Loqque it would Rock tho .
who is this video for, has private owned scooters been made legal now, or are they still illegal to use off private land.. can you still get points on your driving licence if you get seen...
It's 9 or 10 miles range at 15 mph on flat ground not 28 miles 🙄
It's a HXX 8 decent one max it's the most underpowered lowest range scooter you can lay your hands on
I read your review online saying it can go off road😂
I have two of them it's a piece of junk They are sat in the bedroom un used for one year
You can't believe anything electro heads say
Everything is good because they get paid to say it😂
Not sure what Riging Range is
It's how long you can ride the scooter on an oil rig
what about inmotion S1 😎
WTF these are illegal to ride in the uk ?
I've ridden past the 50 on mine 3 times now expecting to get stopped and they've not seemed the slightest bit interested
@@nevillehouchin That's good, What city do you live in? Where I live they send out motorbike police to stop scooter riders.
@@davidhamilton6154 in Milton Keynes, its pretty good for cycle paths here tho so i just use them, i think either I've been lucky or the police here don't see it as a problem
Wtf 😂😂😂😂
So funny! That's what you get for Brexit 🙃
i bought a kick scooter commuter as my car is mashed, and so much cheaper.. so cheap gonna by a off road version scooter kicker.. and their Cool
Diameter not width
Which one makes you the most fat once you have given up the burden of walking?
Can someone let know if it's legal to use in Glasgow, i think one of these will be really useful for me!
“Yes, you can legally buy and own one, but you are not permitted to ride a privately owned one in any public space”
Ah jolly old UK where these will land you a fine and in jail LOL
Techtron high quality? Lol …the back suspension doesn’t even work … front suspension makes a bad sound when riding… for the money i would choose Xiaomi Pro 2 😒😒😒 or ninebot g30 for £100 extra
I've been riding mine for ages and haven't had any issues with it.
@@Electroheads ok, but am I right that the back suspension doesn’t work?
They still illegal in UK
You can't recommend them for commuting when it is illegal to do so. You can only use them on private land at the moment which is no use to anyone.
liars for profit purpose.
just wanted to let everyone know the techtron company is terrible they dont help when you get any issues
Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. We'll forward this to them and hopefully they'll sort it out ASAP.
FWIW - if you buy your next scooter through Electroheads.com then you get customer service directly from us, from a dedicated team in the UK.
@@Electroheads Awsome but I got rid ages ago as had many issues with the scooter
E-dash LE1
same as hx x8
decent one max
I have 2 of them
I get 9mls at 15mph
rubbish on hills
a waste of money 😱
Add US dollars, I don’t want to do math 😂
These are 0 emission when use but A LOT of suffering and emission to produce.
All these scooters are terrible these guys are paid to promote…
Very irresponsible channel to promote illegal e scooters
Has it occured to you not everyone lives in the backward uk, they are legal everywhere else.
DONT LIVE IN THE UK!
That makes no sense mate the electric you use to charge is needs fossil fuels to produce so basically your trying to increase the fossil fuel usage by alot
The idea is you burn the fossil fossil fuel away from people, this way kids and elderly folk don't inhale toxic exhaust .😮
Well I’ll always has a gas guzzling car but it’s fun to take a scooter through a site seeing tour.
They are...but you was forgot to paint them u rainbow colours, maybe then...
I honestly don't know what this means 😂
