They NEED to have a boss fight in the sequel where miles goes head to head with peter. But the curveball would be that miles would actually lose to Peter which is kinda realistic

Right now the two are almost evenly matched, but when Miles gets to be Peters age, he will hopefully have surpassed him, and Peter would be nothing but proud of him
