I'd never even heard of trackmania before I found wirtial yet now I fall asleep to his videos. I saw a comment on the longest shortcut video saying something along the lines of "I feel like I walked into the wrong classroom but stuck around anyway" and I am so glad I did. Great videos bro
I saw the vods. Absolute unit you are for achieving this. And you actually used that one yeet camera angle in the video too. Nice nice all around. Massive kudos, Mr. Wirtual. ;)
I tried to calculate the same thing. Wirtual talked about EO4 for ~50.01% of the video. Wirtual didn't talk about EO4 for ~49.99% of the video. It's (almost) EXACTLY split in half. Also, yes, I used a time calculator.
Congratulations for achieving that milestone. Absolutly incredible determination. Also: The way you present your journeys in your videos get me so hooked. Thanks for doing this bro!
I'm 99% certain that in that moment he wasn't talking to chat, he was talking to everyone that ever said he couldn't do something or that he wasn't good enough or that he was wasting his time... he was talking to the haters, not chat. I'm willing to bet he forgot he was even streaming.
Seems like that quote confounds luck (beneficial influence of external factors, including some more "random" ones aka chance) with achievement though. And for what? Say, if you were born with a fully functional body, you're lucky (albeit not extraordinarily so); you didn't put any effort into that. But what you'll do with that body will be achievements - and they'll be partly a result of said luck, partly of your toil. Or WRs in TM: whether you're the holder of one or not depends not just on your skills and effort but also on factors such as whether others have as much skill and put as much effort in as you or not - the latter being luck. Bad luck, on the other hand, would be things like unfavorable weather when we want to go out, or being born with a dysfunction, or having someone perform better than us in TM (of course benefits and disadvantages is a complex aspect of things). Meanwhile, the quote appears to suggest luck - as commonly defined - doesn't exist and all successes and otherwise good fortune in our lives are due to *our* [hard] work; that there are no external influences that co-create our lives, everything that happens to us - good or bad - is because of our own doing - [hard] work or failure to put in enough work. Which is inaccurate and can lead to unjustified self-blame, guilt, etc. It's like the author of the quote wanted to say "your life is not just what happens to you - it's also what you do! If you want to be successful, relying on external factors will likely be far from enough. So get a grip and be proactive!" and decided to go into an extreme perspective (suggesting luck itself is never truly a factor) to make the message more potent. (yes, I love writing essays in yt comments).

Hell yeah dude! So glad you never gave up on that second to last map (I don't play so minutes after hearing it I forgot it). Also, 40 hours? Jesus Christ, that must've required helluva dedication!
The Dragon yeet reminds me of the time I played Stunt GP (an old game where you control a radio controlled car) and Found out that if you slide a car sideways and hit the wall at the right speed and angle, you get thrown into the air while gaining speed. It would stop working if you flew too high or away from the track (you would be "out of the track and get put back on it), but could be (in theory) gaining maximum speeds of 1.1K km/h. When I showed this to a friend I called it "the apocalyptic entrance". Its funny that online people call these things by their creator name :D.

i love how nothing holds wirt back from doing what he wants, hes such an inspiration to me and my friends
In all seriousness i never knew about tm before you and it is not even my type of game but your sheer narration and videomaking talent have made you one of my favourite youtubers. Mark my words and after all this ends, continue making videos and narrating them, you are actually very talented at this.
I'd never even heard of trackmania before I found wirtial yet now I fall asleep to his videos. I saw a comment on the longest shortcut video saying something along the lines of "I feel like I walked into the wrong classroom but stuck around anyway" and I am so glad I did. Great videos bro
Next video: I completed trackmania nations forever on ice blindfolded without crashing with my keyboard unplugged
14:34 shoutout to the dunce who said “GOOOOOOO” on a massively failed attempt
Bro. You are hands down the best player at Trackmania. You are probably the most determined out of any player.
not the best, just the most determined, but he is still VERY good at the game
I love the music chosen for the background. It fits perfectly and is super calming.
I saw the vods. Absolute unit you are for achieving this. And you actually used that one yeet camera angle in the video too. Nice nice all around. Massive kudos, Mr. Wirtual. ;)
The amount of times on each map to beat Ice Nation forever:
49% EO4 obstacle
51% other maps
Meh guy
I tried to calculate the same thing.
Wirtual talked about EO4 for ~50.01% of the video.
Wirtual didn't talk about EO4 for ~49.99% of the video.
It's (almost) EXACTLY split in half.
Also, yes, I used a time calculator.
Even more amazing is that "Other Maps" includes E05.
The editing on this one was fantastic!
The massiv amount of patient that this man have is incredible and for like 98% of this world unreachable.
I melted when Majijej came in and hugged him, that was so wholesome.
I don't even play this game, but these videos are so fun to watch. Congrats!
It was so emotional to watch him do the dragon yeet after spending over 20 hours watching him drive in a circle lmao
Cant be the only one who thought that this was a second channel vid based on thumbnail and title right?
I absolutely love how his immediate reaction is “Oh fuck all of you!!”😂
"If you haven't given up, you haven't yet failed" merch pls. Take my money sir.
After years of watching your videos while not following, this mister deserves a follow
Great video with a great message
Much Love
Pain is temporary, success is permanent...virtual you are an absolute legend for completing this
The OGs know what actually happened after 5:05 KEKL
Can’t even lie, his monologue was so inspiring it put a smile on my face❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations for achieving that milestone. Absolutly incredible determination. Also: The way you present your journeys in your videos get me so hooked. Thanks for doing this bro!
Your videos are so creative, so well edited and we can see how much work you put into each and every one of them. Thank you
Wiruals chat: encouragig him for hours and hours and hours.
Wirtual when he finally get it: " *Fuck all of you* " !! 20:32
Exactly :D :D :D
I'm 99% certain that in that moment he wasn't talking to chat, he was talking to everyone that ever said he couldn't do something or that he wasn't good enough or that he was wasting his time... he was talking to the haters, not chat. I'm willing to bet he forgot he was even streaming.
just fyi, Wirtual, at 22:06 you said “E05 Obstacle”. reminder; it should say E05 Endurance.
other than that, great video as always 🙂
this reminds me of a quote by Emily Dickenson “Luck is not chance, it’s toil. Fortune’s expensive smile is earned.” Well done Wirtual
Love your videos man never played trackMania but you’re videos make me want to! And your story telling is phenomenal keep it up
Bro your Chanel grew fast. I’m pretty sure I subscribed or watched your videos when you had a few hundred thousand can’t remember. But now you’re at 900k, daayyumm nothing but up from here bro🤝
VOCÊ É MUITO FODA, MEU HEROI
If you said to me 5 years ago that jump on E4 was not only possible but will be done by human I'd be laughing at you. Not so funny anymore :(
This man is the “World’s Greatest Trackmania Player”
Wirtual main channel uploads are the best
This is one of my first videos I've watched in your channel (then forgetting the channel for half a year...). One of the most emotional too...
So, has someone actually done E-04 before, or was the route at least theorized? Just wondering how the author time for that map was determined
Also curious
Same.
Yeah, someone completed it using the same strat while Wirtual was going for it.
author time is a real time
Author be like "challenge accepted thanks for helping me figure it out"
Wirtual do ice only no checkpoints.
This man is getting author medals on ice and other very difficult challenges, and I have never even got one normally!
bro the transition at the start of the vid was f*cking smooth
When you said at the start of the video you were near 1 million subs, I was really shocked that you weren't already over that! You deserve way more, one of my favourite content creators man, and this video was absolutely ace as well.
"There is nothing impossible to him who will try."
- Alexander the Great
My favorite part about this comment is that this is my about me on Discord.
"If you haven't given up you haven't yet failed" -Wirtual. I broke my ankle 4 months ago and am in cross-country. I'm having a really hard time getting back into it and getting in shape but next I feel like giving up during a run I'm going to think of this.
Hell yeah dude! So glad you never gave up on that second to last map (I don't play so minutes after hearing it I forgot it). Also, 40 hours? Jesus Christ, that must've required helluva dedication!
Man, this is your best video. I absolutely loved it. You are an inspiration, thank you.
This is insane I came all the way over from Xbox to my phone to comment and rewatch your video love your uploads keep doing what you do bro.
I know I probably should, but I don't watch all of your videos. But I can say for sure that when I do it's one hell of an experience. Your storytelling is amazing :)
This was one of the best UA-cam videos of the year. Bravo, Wirtual. Bravo
love seeing u growing this rapidly!!! i remember u had 90k like a year ago now ur close to 1 million!!
You give the most inspirational speeches I have ever heard I literally have tears in my eyes realizing that I can’t give up that I need to push myself thank you I hope you have a wonderful life❤
