Im not a Bill Saarsgard fan , I really wanted to see William Defoe reprise his role playing as Nosferatu (Count Orlock) again like he did in "Shadow Of The Vampire" , he was terrifying in that movie especially his evil grin & he looked perfectly creepy just like Max Shreck did in the original 1922 silent film !!!!
So that's what all the reviewers meant when they cryptically described Orlok's apperance, he has a great bushy mustache. (Shadow makes sense now) I'm excited, Orlok with a muff duster over those teeth would be equally scary I'm sure.
To piggyback on your reaction, in comparison to the book, yes, the tension was extremely palpable. And it absolutely "goes there." If you know Eggers, I have no doubt he would take it to the lengths of where the book goes. Sexual tension, grotesque bloody horror. Yup, I'm so in. Great spoiler-free review. 🎉🎉
Yes, the book surely does! One scene in particular must have been shocking to the readers at the time it was published. It's still wild today. It'll be interesting to see if it's included in Eggers "Nosferatu". I feel like he'd go there.
I hope you liked this movie as much as you wanted to because I was super excited to see nostradomus and I'm still so heart broken that that won't happen. 😭😭🤣 If I can though I may sneak in to see it.
Kurt Barlow in the book Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot, had a mustache
Dracula in the book wore a mustache
Oh really....
Count Orlok in this is clearly based on Vlad the Impaler (as is Dracula obviously) but Eggers had the balls to give him THE mustache :D
Thanks for the early review boss

This movie looks pretty good.
Love the review! Maybe you could do a Bram Stoker Dracula versus Nosferatu comparison video?

I think you mean “Nosferatu”.
This movie looks almost in black and white it's so dark. They could have a bit more color. Thanks for the review.
I’m so stoked for this movie. Pun intended
I’ll probably see it after Christmas
Werner Herzog's version EATS THIS movie.
Unfortunate that he looks like Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins
Great another remake ! Very hard PASS !
