Hi George. Fascinating picks as usual. Love the Monk and Grant Green. I see the Alice Coltrane/Santana in the bins once in awhile for cheap. Must pick it up. Cheers.

Hi Jeff yes the Alice Coltrane lp is worth picking up on the cheap. Monk is up there with anyone. I am sort of filled up with grant green but always quality.

Hello George. Nice recent pick ups. I didn't know that Alice Coltrane teamed up with Santana. That would be pretty outstanding, I would imagine. Very nice Monk and Grant Green LP's as well. Thanks. Cheers!

Great selection George! I love that Gerald Wilson too and I'm not into big band. It sounds gorgeous. Also like doing business with Pure Pleasure in London, awesome audiophile label on our doorstep! Keep spinning buddy! Cheers

Great pics, George. Jeepers, Harold Land turns up in some surprising places - he even gets a mention on the first Yes album. “Stick Up” is great, Hutcherson is one of my favorites.

Hi George. I myself have backed way off of the atone Poets. You don’t get as good of packaging but you do pay a lot more. I keep an eye for sales on Amazon and will pick a few up. Booker Little was someone new to me, thank you for the info on him. Nice choice of background music Gospel Jazz Music, interesting. Cheers George

Cheers Steve. The tone poets are such good value for an audiophile record it’s hard not to pick them up. Booklet little is a fantastic trumpet player shame he didn’t make more records.

Hi George. Nice to see you again. Very cool reissues. I was checking out the Vick. Man the lineup on it is killer. Luckily I found an original six-eye mono pressing of Monk's Dream at Goodwill a few years back. I ordered the amazing 'Point of Departure' from Andrew Hill. One of my favorites. Excellent update once again G~

You have a lot of great jazz albums in your collection. I don't know a lot about Booker Little, so it was good to hear your thoughts. The Grant Green album sounds interesting.

Thanks Randy yes Booker little was quite a player who’s life was unfortunately cut short. I’m sure he would have went on to bigger things. The grant green is a cool easy going lp with a bit spiritual feel.

Really good pickups George! I have a couple of Dolphy/Booker LPs and they sound really nice. These look super as well. I have only a couple of Monk. I should definitely check this one out. I have been getting more into bigband and the Wilson one is good. I’ll check out the Henderson and Vick albums. Have a warm week!

Thanks Bradley. Booker is a very underrated musician yes I will get any he’s on. Monk lp is one of his best I think and the latest tone poets are as good as most. I’m glad though I picked up that Gerald Wilson lp.

Out Front is an amazingly mature record for a 23 year old. No telling what Booker would have achieved had he lived. Hoping that the revived Candid label will reissue this. Picked up the Bernie Grundman remastered copies of the Abbey Lincoln, Max Roach and Mingus, all sound terrific.

Nice video George. I've only just discovered Tone Poets so have been buying all those I can find that are still available (at or near retail prices)... I'm sure I saw a video where they (Joe Harley or Kevin Grey) said they were not limited editions and would be re-pressed... Do you know anything about that? There are a few titles I've missed that I would really like, but don't want to spend hundreds £££ for.
