Opti (France) was fighting with his vils all the time, so I wouldn't be surprised if that had a major effect on his eco.
Early game it absolutely did. Like I wouldn’t be surprised if by the time france went age 3, Russia probably had possibly 50% more resources gathered by that point

Fun little fact, Sovniya, the card that gives Strelets better melee also gives cav archers an aoe melee attack, would have been perfect against cuirs, but ultimately not needed as we've seen. I'm still annoyed about dudes not using Strelet horde, get that fucking range upgrade dudes.

Imagine my surprise when i learned that salt mind actually has a gathering penalty unlike regular mines. However, it can be boosted with the same mining shipments. Basically a better estate.
You can also have one on the field, which means that once the first one expires, you can buy a second one from the Berber tp and never lose the effectiveness of the Berber villagers

You kill 600 cheap low hp Russian units yet the Strelet mass keeps growing and growing. Kevin literally zerged his opponent to death.
Russia's 🐻 better villager production is so strong in the late game if the opponent doesn't manage to get TCs up to keep up with it.
Dvoryanin means nobleman in Russian. in a narrower sense, in medieval Rus' these are people who received nobility for military service.

It is often misunderstood that Russian units are weak. Well, Russian units with enough upgrade is totally different story.
Maybe Opti's explorer is what kept Kevin in the game :P
