Current PL rules state any club who joins a Breakaway tournament from either PL or UEFA must Resign for the PL. so no PL.
It's gonna end up like PDC Darts a few will jump at first and more will follow. Just like it will be free first like the CL was back in the day, and then they will start the subscription stuff and make you pay for it.
I don't like it when football fans say "money has corrupted football", football has always been a business ever since its existence. Its always about money in the 70's, 80's, 90's and so on by American and British football owners but the media tends to scapegoat middle Eastern owners for Oil money when the British and Americans demand it. Some members of the Big 6ix will go in the future to the ESL. IMO I would prefer to be a taster trial year for clubs to participate in the ESL and then at the end of that trial, the fans and clubs could make an overall opinion on the league based on its experience

There needs to be a new league the elite league with 20 teams including Celtic , rangers Barcelona, Real Madrid , juventus Milan and all the European top clubs with promotion and relegation how it would work is the champion out of each country goes in to a mini league and the top 3 gets promoted in to the elite league and that’s how you would find out which team is the best in Europe.

From the point of view of a neutral, who wants to see Bournemouth vs West Ham or Everton vs Luton other than their fan base? How many neutrals watch these games? Fact is, the world wants to see the best v the best. Networks would pay a premium to see Bayern, Real Madrid, City, AC Milan, Spurs play regularly.

PL would become watered down with clubs resting players in the PL for SL games. I'm an American and watch the PL for the tough gritty away games and interesting grounds around England. That will become a second thought.

So with the Super league Chelsea could finnish 12th in the PL and still be in the Super league. Na thats not for me. I think you should qualify for the best competisions like it is now. If that is under UEFA rule or some other entity I don't care but it should be like it is now that you qualify for the competision.
I just don't want it because of the format. Let's say Girona win the league this season. In the super league format, they'd be in the third division (playing against the Europa/Conference league sides). When they win the title they should be playing against the likes of Man City and Bayern. That's the issue with me. UEFA are just as bad btw. Fix this issue and I'm all for it

Personally, I couldn't give a shit if the "big 6" fucked off. Finally my club and all the others might have a chance of winning something! I'd actually watch more football because our league would be competitive for once. Imagine a season where all 20 clubs could genuinely feel they have a chance at the title.
This is why many fans will tell you they prefer it when their club is in the Championship. I couldn't imagine how boring it must be to be a Crystal Palace fan; same old same old every year. I'd rather be a yo-yo club like a Norwich.
There are leagues in the world which still have plenty of local support and no one gives a shit that it isn’t "Premier League quality." Check out the Swedish Allsvenskan or Brazilian league. They have many different winners but more importantly, the gap between top and bottom isn't so glaring and anyone can get relegated, even the big clubs.
So yeah, all in favour of a super league - would love to see the new English Prem!

The problem is, is that whats the motivation to win the epl, or nmmake top four? If youre already in tbe super league then youre going to be there next year and the next year so theres no reason to try and compete in the league, and injecting a billion follars into madrid and barca, so basicslly barca will have there finsncial issues solved just becsuse theyre in the super league, its a joke. Im neither for nor against this. Honestly, UEFA, the EPL and FIFA caused this mess in the first place. But honestly? matches that are played in friendlies are taken to other countries for the clubs to see, so why take them to Saudi Arabia or the United States? its European, so it really just call it the World Super League instead. Im glad UEFA is getting a kick up the backside because for damn sure, it needs a good size 12 up there!
