- Hey all! Im sorry it's been a while, I recently moved out of my childhood home and we lost our rehearsal space. My dad built this space in our new backyard, so big shot out to him for allowing us to do what we love. Check this cover out of "Don't Care/Live Fast Die Young" off the Circle Jerks debut "Group Sex". let me know what you think.

Bro, I don't know where to start, you shred those drums! I've been following your channel since UA-cam recommended your cover of Minor Threat's Out of Step (which, by the way, became one of my favorite bands after that), it's amazing to see someone a little older than me who plays a lot stuff from my favorite bands/I like them a lot (I'm also a drummer), respect from Mexico.

@@smdrums0287 That's right my friend, punk percussion is the most fun you can do behind a kit, although for now I'll have to sell my kit to pay for my studies and other things. Taking into account that you are very fast and precise, could you do some cover of these suggestions at some point? since I see that you play many things that hardly anyone has uploaded here (of course, if you like them like me):
-Pre-My War material by Black Flag (Dez's time on vocals is my favorite)
-Something from the Bad Brains
-Anything from the old school The Offspring (especially the self-titled album and Ignition)
-Some Lagwagon from the Derrick era on the drums
-I have seen this very few times, but I think you have the talent to do it, some stuff by Rich Kids On LSD (possibly the most skilled and fastest musicians that punk has ever offered). Punk is not dead, see you another time!
How long does it take to drum like that i really want to learn
i've been playing for a while at this point , and it's still hard to do. just keep practicing and you'll get to where you want to be eventually.
