I appreciate the information about the Biothane. I have bought the beta heavy duty & hi gloss. I make dog collars & just starting now with biothane. Is the standard the best to work with. I want to secure with rivets & decorate w/ crystal rivets.
I have the rolled rope type for long line. I understand the ma material is waterproof and mould resistant but how do I stop water getting into the cut end of the line. Went to the open free end absorb water and dirt causing it to get wet/damp from the inside out? Is there a way to seal it? Many thanks
Hi, thanks for your comment. Biothane say that for most canine articles, manufacturers have found sealing the end unnecessary. However, if you need to, this can be done with heat. It also can be done with glue or varnish. If using heat on Beta(PVC), they recommend ventilation.

Thank you for the video. How is it for stamping or embossing?
What type of block are you using to cut the ends of the biothane on?
I can't find any mint green on the website, can you advise?

Hi! Do you have a brand punch you'd recommend? I'm in the U.S. and the punches I've found don't seem durable/sharp enough.
Hi, thanks for your comment! We offer a range of punches included our own brand which we recommend. www.abbeyengland.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=punch
