i wanna ask my teacher said we can use a metal wire than dip it hcl to remove any residue that can interfere with the result then heat It in the flame to dissolve the hcl later you have to moisten it again with some acid why cant we just use hcl ?
also iss the metal wire be unreactive in this method or is it just any metal ??
Each element have it's colour or one element have different colour
