All aircraft have a manual release of the landing gears locking mechanism. Once it is released the weight of the Landing Gear would make it drop into position. This situation should never occur. This is a simulation. You wouldn't taxi a aircraft on the engine

In 1971 the 747 Classic successfully returned to KSFO after sustaining takeoff damage when it collided with ILS antennae, losing most hydraulics. On landing the left wing gear, amongst other equipment, did not deploy. She bounced high, eventually stopped on the runway and tipped back to rest on her tail due to aft CG. This made all the front end door slides useless as the nose was way too high above ground.
