Okay I don't care if that was fake, CGI, or pre-recorded, that was absolutely incredible.... Not to mention the fact that it was completely original, and extremely creative.... Absolutely incredible performance my guy

I would like to agree with you... but sadly as soon as he put the green glasses "on" the chap you could tell it was a filter at best - they just didn't stay in position well enough.
As for "completely original" there was a chap many years ago (before we had phones and the computer technology we do now) who did a similar act where he appeared to be interacting with people on a film.
What you often find is that people will scour different sources for footage of entertainers from decades ago and then modernise the act and it appears to be new because most of the younger generation have never seen it before.
Another example, see the "Got Talent" video of Vladimir the older guy with beard and glasses doing stunts on a trampoline - then search for Larry Griswold who does a very similar routine but back in 1951!
@@user-df9vc3jp2b doesn't explain all of the other amazing optical illusions... Like I said, I don't care to figure it out. Whether slight of hand, pre-recorded, or fake, it was still impressive to me... The fact that you assumed something about the glasses doesn't take away anything from the performance.... Still unique, still a routine I've never seen before, and still a jaw-dropping performance.

Seriously though... and then what? I don't think we've seen any act from any of the different countries "Got Talent" series go on to anything major afterwards.
I have heard that once they get through to a certain stage they have to sign a contract with the Got Talent production company agreeing to pay 40% of all future earnings to the company... but they just seem to disappear into obscurity, or pop up in another country doing their act again.

Brilliant! He's used a computer screen, holograms and conjuring tricks, but he did it all with panache, you can't see the joins, where the hologram fades and the real object is in his hands.

Yes, you can. Relatively cheap way of doing 3D images in air but still mesmerizing.

@III-pp3lu no projectors. There's a spinning wheel like × but more like *. Each arm has a lot of LED lights. It spins and LED lights "draw" 3D-like image.
You can even see rotation especially if you watch at 0.5 speed or slower.
We have such a device at work, was used for marketing purposes once and just lay around for years now.
I don't want to give his secret away, but the reason the objects look choppy coming out the the TV is due to the cameras shutter speed. This looked MUCH better in person. This is actually something you can but from TEMU for about $30

I was going to say the same thing...this is old sleight of hand card trick stuff except he's carefully set it up to exactly match altered digital photos on a smart phone...
This show is called America’s Got Talent! It’s a talent competition, whether there’s a glass or not doesn’t justify any argument that he isn’t talented.

Over the years I have really got tired of Cowell and his face of disdain for the acts before they start like this act.
He did the same with a snide remark to Holden on BGT about a singer called Susan Boyle who actually went on to win the series and become a global hit.
About time he showed more respect instead of thinking he is the bee's knees and the world revolves around him.
A man who can't get enough money that when Westlife an Irish group was recording he played 1 note on a triangle on their record which entitled him to royalties of that record.
That's how low he really is.
That is just his brand lmao. I’m not sure about the royalties thing and frankly I don’t care. But his “face of disdain” is his entire thing. He’s a Diva, not necessarily because he is one, but because thats what sells. He acts this way on camera because thats how people want him to act. If not for his act, he would just be some random dude that isn’t as memorable.
When I think Agt judges, Simon is the first one that comes to mind because thats how much his personality stands out. He’s supposed to be the one that doesn’t like any act except for the incredibly goofy ones. So when he takes a liking to non goofy ones it gives the act more meaning and it sells more views on UA-cam.

Magicians need to understand CGI “tricks” aren’t magic as it is so easy to decipher what was done as an audience member. If this is the direction of magic, true magic will die.
