When you're conscious mind, which is your logic and reasoning, becomes overloaded by positive and/or negative message units your subconscious will take over and prepare you for fight or flight. Something I've been teaching for over 50 years. Modern-day flight is withdrawing within yourself with your negative thoughts and therefore becoming depressed or your body freezing up/ playing dead. If your subconscious triggers the fight mode it's also held in and becomes anxiety. So depression and anxiety are based upon you allowing your conscious mind to become so overloaded your subconscious tried to protect you by, as I said, by preparing you for fight or flight.

The fact is that previous experience or training doesn't necessarily dictate future behavior. That means, you could be a rockstar in one situation and then still be a frozen and utter failure in another. It's all about how your brain perceives the situation.

Hey, man, It's okay, but you may need to ruin a few relationships just to get out of the anxiety or trust your instincts and go limp, while predators eat you alive. :)

I wonder if hypoarousal is what has caused rattlesnakes to evolve without rattles or to rattle less. The rattlesnakes that are hyperaroused which makes them rattle so they are caught and killed. The hypoaroused ones are silent so they aren't found and go on to reproduce more silent rattlesnakes.
So all through time our warriors have evolved to become weaker and weaker since the stronger hyperaroused go out and put themselves in harms way and get killed

There is no such thing as an ethical kill. It’s just murder 😂 as a hunter I’ve just accepted that it’s a kill or be killed world

This happened to me when a bear was outside my tent when I went camping. I thought it was just sleep paralysis but now I see it was this which is terrifying because I assumed that had something happened I could’ve been awakened but it sounds like that’s not the case. Also sucks to find out that I’m so much of a pussy that my nervous system says there’s no use mounting an attack, just lie down… 😂

NORMAL people freeze. People that live in chaos everyday know how to function in environments like that. When I worked as a wild land firefighter, I had people almost dying and people freaking out when they see stuff like that. I know the look in people faces when they're scared and stuck not knowing what to do. To me that was normal and fun, I remember being in a evacuation zone and being surrounded by fire and embers getting inside our uniforms, people freaking out cause we were stuck inside our SAFE zone. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Everyone screaming saying they didn't sign up for that 🤣🤣🤣 I on the other hand loved it. I love that feeling of adrenaline rush. Where life and death is close. And yeah we were stuck for a couple hours inside the safe zone, seeing the fire cross the bulldose lines was crazy, that's how windy it was.

Bow hunting isn't a good example because the deer can't shoot back. You are in no danger. And if you want a "clean, ethical kill" you might not want to be using a bow.

I tune in when ideals or thoughts are broken down. I tune out when the ubiquitous "evolution" garbage comes out. Research Darwins final words on evolution, and you'll be shocked. It's not what people want to hear,so people tune out.
