Would Love 2 have you at my wedding :-)
If you're ever in BC up here in Canada, definitely go check out Murray street in Port Moody. There's 7 breweries all next door to each other. It's the ultimate pub crawl. There's also almost 200 active breweries in BC
Everything Beer channel, home brew, travel brew, Edbrewcation, one stop shop for all the things. Great vid dude!
I love these beer destination vlog video. Nothing better than good beer and good friends
If you're ever in England. Manchester is an amazing city for food and beer. Bundobust, Track Brewing, Cloudwater, Shureshot, Wander Beyond, Marble Beers, Pomona Island,Beer Moth and an amazing food scene where you can pretty much walk around everywhere.
Love me some Celis! Others breweries that are worth checking out in the area are 512 Brewing, Jester King, and Live Oak. Lives Oak's Hef is killer!
Just an hour south of Austin, San Antonio has a great beer scene with Kuentsler, Second Pitch, Weathered Souls, Roadmap, and Back Unturned to name a few.
Dude those breweries are huge!! Looks like a great time!
Cheers Steve!
Awesome video. Looks like a fantastic time. I loved Austin. Franklin BBQ was 🔥 and Pinthouse NEIPAs were great. You should do a Boston or NYC trip! Boston; Trillium, Lamplighter, Nightshift, and awesome craft beer bar Publick House. Or NYC; Otherhalf, Finback, WildEast, StrongRope, all within walking distance. …and Grimm, KCBC and Interboro a short subway ride from there.
I once had to drive my own uber! LOL.....well, the braj had a diabetic siezure right as he picked me up, and I ended up volunteering to drive his car back to his house. then some other uber driver came and took me from there to where I needed to go. THEN! uber gave me $250 credit.......good deeds and what not.
Absolute braj move. MBC for this man boys.
Glad you enjoyed the trip. If you haven’t been to San Antonio then highly recommend it. River walk is a great place to grab cold beer and great food!
Glad you could make it to my state. Austin=best place to visit (esp beer & food). Traffic horrendous, though. Sidenote-you ought to brew a holiday beer.
Stoked you all had an awesome time! I'd plug Skagit Valley's Beer scene in WA state. Killer malting out here making for some great beer.
Gotta check out Raleigh NC. Lots beer and food. Specifically, Fuquay-Varina. Small town vibes, walking place to place
Dang that was a seriously jam packed weekend! Looked like a lot of fun but I feel hungover just watching lol
Haha yea it was quite a bit we did lol but mad fun!!!
Cincinnati/Dayton, Columbus and Cleveland Ohio all have great beer and food scenes.
Second for Columbus. Great city city, great beer scene, easy drive from Knoxville
Love the new videos! Come out to Baltimore. There is a great beer scene in the city and throughout the surrounding counties! We have a ton of farm breweries that kill it. Hopkins Farm Brewery being one of my favs.
Love Austin! Gotta come out to Denver to check out the beer scene. Especially for Great American Beerfest.
That Electric Jellyfish from Pinthouse thoooooo. Can confirm their pizza is delicious too
Come to Minneapolis next spring. We can attempt to crowdfund you a place to stay and more importantly hit up some of the best beer places in the Twin Cities.
Only beer scene in my town is on the back porch of my house. Joys of small town america.
Looks like a Blast!!! even better with the great company! Great Video, makes me want to visit Austin right now!
Love the travel videos. Glad you came to my home state. Hope you had a blast braj. Cheers
If you ever come back to California downtown Visalia has a great drinking scene. Lots of local breweries. Visalia is where Elementary brewing UA-cam channel is based.
Wow! Those places are off the chart. I've never seen anything like it. Just don't ever come Ireland - you'll be disappointed!
My “city” has no real beer scene…. But we have a moonshine distillery called the Crabbie Goat…. We need a beer haus.
Jacksonville, Fl has an amazing brewery scene and may have even restarted their downtown brewery bus tour post-covid, and while the downtown area has a cluster, the Northwest part of town has some gems including Goozlepipe & Guttyworks which features many local brews in their 205 taps, and 1000 bottles, and has over 100,000 vintaged and rare beers, ask to see the Belgian Basement.
I respect that you admit that there were some places that weren't wonderful, but didn't want to call them out in your video. Usually when we are going hard and hitting multiple breweries in one night there tends to 1 or 2 places where either the beer isn't very good, the staff are complete a-holes (I'm looking at YOU Other Half Brewing in Bloomfield, NY) or it's just too late in the day and I've blown out my taste buds on 7 taster flights so I'm too drunk to access them accurately, Either way, your positive vibes and great trip reviews are always appreciated.
Birmingham and Huntsville in Alabama are both great beer towns and only a short drive from Knoxville. Get you some
Everything is bigger in Texas, except gnomes. See you guys later tonight.. and all weekend!
You have to come to the Tampa Bay area in FL. Lots of great breweries like, Angry Chair, Cigar City, Arkane Aleworks, Escape brewing, Hidden Springs, Florida Avenue, Green bench, and Three Daughters to name a few.
TB is HIGH on the list!
Man the one I was hoping you were gonna go to was Live Oak Brewing :/ That one is my #1 here!
A bunch you mentioned are fire too though!
Great video brother. Quick and insightful. If you ever venture to Milwaukee, WI.... there is a great craft beer scene up here.
That was legitnith!!! Miss ya Braj, keep'em coming
😂
Excellent vid. Informative, fun and less than 10 min. Boom boom boom. You nailed it.
Awesome video! I’m going to Austin in May so this is very helpful. Do you by chance remember the notable bbq places? Also what was that arcade? Thanks!
Richmond, VA can walk between most breweries but if you have to cheaper Ubers between places for sure (also have the retro gaming places)
If you are ever in Dallas, Peticolas has been my favorite brewery from tons that’s I’ve been to.
Yooooo this video was awesome!!! Had a blast and can't wait to do this in Knoxville!!!
As mama always said, "If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all." respect braj
Moved from the Temecula area a year ago. Still cannot find Mexican food in TX that’s close to So Cal’s.
Austin is cool, but it’s not SD. I miss Petco Stadium. I miss the beach 😢
Vamcouver Beer scene is for a win, homebrewers keep it quiet here.
Love it!!! Very cool!
Dang! Jus is driving in style!
Looked like a good trip!
HIT DENVER AURORA AREA NEXT!!! Love the travel vlogs!
Very nice. Looks like a good time. I hear Austin is a lot like Portland. Also love the Full Metal Jacket.
not sure if you got to check it out; but Nomadic Beerworks is one I would recommend, it's a small brewpub but the beers were spot on, and the head brewer was a very nice guy to visit. He even gave me the recipe for their Great Unknown, a Citra Pilsner. one thing is for certain it takes several trips to see all of their breweries, I got to check around 27 or so of them in like 4 days.
Gotta check out Tampa/St. Pete but for you'll have to Uber to most of the places.
Great video and now you’ve sparked an urge in me to go to Austin or TX in general especially since I have family there. Love the way you do your videos too ✊🏿🍻.
🍻
Victoria BC has an amazing craft beer scene! hit me up if youre ever thinking about coming to Canada
Love these travel videos. Cool to see the hoppy hour crew raging in Austin, certainly on my bucket list! Oslo has a decent beer scene...although insanely expensive.
Id love to visit Oslo!
Wish you would come down to Greenville, South Carolina. Cool beers and great town. Just a hour south of Asheville. Come to the Silos brewing.
Im down!
Houston is up there, bad thing it’s so spread out, so lots of driving.
You went from home brewing expert to vacation expert! Looks like a great time!
Come to the ATL man! Especially Decatur/Avondale!
Brajito;
Austin rocks for micro's and music. Food is good but ....
THAT AIN"T NO PIZZA TOWN !!(thats from a Joisey boy)
Mate I live in Wellington, New Zealand we have a killer beer scene. It's the OG new-world beer. Rakau, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron - they're all grown down the road. I'll even host and let you crash at my place. Do it
Lazuras is great!! Great video!
Awesome video 🍺 looks like you guys had a great time
Dude killer video! Makes me wanna head down to Austin! Looks like a fun time
Cheers steve! 🍻
Braj, you want beer scene? Charleston SC
You need to come to Houston. Austin ain't got nothing on Houston when it comes to beer and BBQ. Spindletap has the best hazy IPAS hands down. We also have the best Mexican food around. It's called Texmex around here.
I’m in Columbia MO. It’s smack between KC and STL. Only an hour and 45 each way. Good breweries in all 3, easy weekend trip.
Also, if you’ve hit your target gravity on a home brew, can you start bottling “early?”
Detroit has a pretty awesome beer scene. I'd be happy to compile a list of awesome breweries, along with coney dog and square pizza places
Yep, don’t be scared of the D!
You make great videos braj!
Gotta come to Anaheim to check out the scene
Nose Nacho LOL
CH if you ever wanna do a Richmond VA vid I got a spare bedroom and a all the breweries are 15min or less.
Brah ... yinz gotta get up to Pittsburgh!
bruh whered this dude live? everything in ATX is 20m for everything else, just get on 35 and cruise for 15. so many places to go so its hard, adalberts is closing soon and they were legit af. If you're still in town try hopsquad brewing, or oddwood, if you like sours blue owl too
Love the travel "vlogs" braj! Throwing a healthy recommendation to check out Chicago's craft beer at some point. We're by no means the best in the states, but an honorable mention in my opinion. Plus if you love SD's mexican food, ya gotta come to Chicago and try ours. Just avoid the winters. Cheers braj!
Duly noted! Yew!
We need you down here in H-town papi!
Austin looks pretty cool. My local beer scene sucks, as I live in Thailand. We do have a few places that sell over-taxed import beers though.
How much is a beer in thailand?
@@HOMEBREW4LIFE A large bottle (21 fl oz) of yellow piss is about $1.80. You can get Bud here ('brewed' in Vietnam), but it's even worse than the Thai stuff.
An imported English bitter in a 17 fl oz can is $3.40 from the importer, $4 in the store and a little more in a bar. A draught Guinness is over $6 now, which is a bit rich.
There are also some Thai craft beers, but due to yet another stupid Thai law, they're all brewed overseas (Aus, Korea, Japan) - hopefully things will improve soon and local craft brewers can brew locally.
When I imported beer into Thailand, taxes were at 312%...
Should’ve hit H-Town for the Mexican food 🤫 Austin is buns compared to here, but they do got us beat on breweries I say
Word!!!
Take a left turn to Albuquerque on your way back next time and check out some New Mexican food and Canteen and Marble brewery. Cheers!
Has nothing to do with the Texas but Florida's beet brewery is tripping animals, and best Mexican food is in homestead Florida.
Dunedin, FL. You’re welcome.
I just have one suggestion: TACO JOINT. Go there. Get any breakfast taco. Get a street taco. That is all
Yew! 🍕
I’m from Paso Robles which is mostly know for wine but there are about a dozen breweries in a 40 square mile area. Including Firestone. My wife works at a legit winery DAOU.
Let me know if you’d be interested in coming I could convince my wife to let you stay with us.
Great video!
dude, where's that drag brewery video? I was going to watch it
Cheers Brews!
Actually, I think a vid about the bad ones could be valuable. Don't call them out by name, but what made them bad? Location? Vibe? Crappy beer? "Don't do what Donny Don't does."
I've got a problem with my homebrew and need your help, it was supposed to be a hazy ipa. Put rolled oats and wheat in and did a big late dry hop all oxygen free. Started cooling it down and the haze is literally falling to the bottom of the vessel along with the big hop flavours, its also slightly darkened but i think this is due to the haze being pulled out. Is this snow globing? Has my yeast lacked nutrients? Cheers braj
This has a Rocky Horror Picture Show vibe going. Great for Halloween I guess. We don't have all the crazy fun stuff around here. We just have a hoop to share.
Also, you might appreciate the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, CA because it's history in the craft beer scene. When Paradise burned down in 2018 they even had a special brew that 100% of the profits went to help rebuild the neighboring town.
Ha im from Sonoma
@@HOMEBREW4LIFE ok, my family is from Paradise, and my parents got into craft brewing in the mid 90's, we were near Seattle at the time, but it was because of Sierra Nevada and Sam Adam's that they got into it with some friends.
Dang this is tight!
Kinda mad I didn’t go out to a couple of those places as planned last week now… And you went to the wrong “Mexican” spot if they served that. You hit the right breweries for Austin though. Tiddies 🤙🏼
Here for the Brajvlogs cheers
Vancouver and area my brother!
If I were ever to start a micro brewery I think Id want something more to offer then just drinks and food, for example a bowling alley, arcade games, pool tables, etc. Best thing would be to have an auto mechanic shop next door that would work with you on hours, instead of the usual closing at 5pm. A shop that would stay open late so the banker hour people could get their cars worked on and get dinner, drinks then do some bowling while they wait for their car.
Yep, drop your car off in the morning, get trashed by mid-day then drive home at night when it's fixed.
@@JamesChurchill3 I suppose that could happen, but I was thinking more along the lines of someone needing tires for their car, dinner for the family, and something to do while they wait.
I like the idea, but I foresee a world where mechanics are getting hammered
@@xnoheartx they'd be fired from their jobs for that, employers don't put up with that these days
Party at the moon tower!
Wooderson IPA!
Did you go to the Cidercade in Austin?
Down payment until that St. Elmo deleted footage hits OnlyBrajs
MUCH LOVE BOLD HB!! 🍻 ❤️
Is justin still making videos? I recently found his channel and there are no new videos.
Braaaah!
Hey braj let me fix those motor mounts so you can go 60mph
My braj, Twin Cities are calling your name
Springsteen chaaa!
