Thanks for all the kind comments - it was one of the last times (ex a sick Brewster) the band played together for me as the original lineup. Glad you all love it - I'm proud of this moment and it's very special to me too.
Andy Grace Are you kidding Andy? Dude Everybody owes you guys so much, I owe you a grip of money for all times i played Marseilles in a bar/party alone, jesus h , every musician here does, course we're all broke as fuck cuz, musicians. But this brought a tear to my eye, I'm 60 now but I just broke out the 68 sg and tore it up, one more time, with one of the best, favorite all time bands,,Thanks Angels for all the good times ya mad bastards, rip doc,,
We go through life and sometimes, with lady fortune smiling, experience amazing moments. If we are not careful, they disappear like raindrops in the ocean. Thank you Andy for capturing this. They were/are legends, RIP to those that aren't with us any longer :(
We love you guys Andy, again, thanks for all the lessons on what pro means..and what love of music does to your life...I wouldn't trade quitting school at 15 for anything , 63 now and just played a 3 day festival at The Texas Music Ranch. And not a goddamm mask in the crowd. Thats so rock n roll. I wish I could have played just one song with you man..
Doc is the king.. Growing in up in the states they were Angel City.. The Angels first 2 records are the best ever.. Saw Doc n the boys 1980 in Seattle. Life changing moment for me..
Absolute legend and thank you The Angels for what you gave to Australian music it will live forever, any cover band should have a few in their lineup rip doc 🤘🤘
Ya early Doc, Bon and babe Christina A. I miss the most. Back then they they paved the new sound of R&R. Of course Easybeats, Billy Thorpe and later INXS, Church, Midnight Oil, Machinations, etc...
I still remember him swinging off the rafters at the old Mooloolaba Pub called Thommos and squeezing his scarf out... haha That was after The Divinyls and Hunters and Collectors gig... OMG... That was epic!! If anyone can remember from the Old Sunshine Coast Days, there was stairs at the back going up... OMG. haha
Doc was an amazing legend, there was not Angels without him..great to see Buzz and Chris, great memories…I saw the Angels countless times and they never failed to give 110 % the original line up was just the best 🙏🏻💙
Dags I have the tab for this...its out there...just gotta know where to look and how to get it for nicks. Let me know your contacts and I can email it.
