Andy that video was superb! Very well filmed, edited and in-captivating story telling. Well done to all involved 👏
Congrats on the better-than-expected handicap, Rick ... loved the Break 75 series and loving the Shots Explained series even more.
Lovely to see appreciation of this channel from a UA-cam veteran 👍👍
One of the best golf videos I've watched. Well done Andy, our favorite average golfer.
Nice to read these comments from the man who continues to lead the way on Golf UA-cam 👍🏻
I am literally speechless. This was one of the most amazing videos I have ever seen on UA-cam. I was sucked in from the first second till the last. The history, the videography, the story and pride of the club. Unfortunately your good golf shots get overlooked by the amazing scenery. Well done, Andy! Huge respect.
Love d reading this David, thank you

Getting course reviews right isn’t easy. The quality of footage and your commentary and inclusion of people from the clubs yiu cover adds real value. Their pride in the clubs sines through and for people who love to play other courses that’s the spirit of the clubs they want to learn about. Well done.
Well said David M.
Historic game golf best game ever played so they say great vlog Andy
Agree Andrew
Wow such a beautiful walk through history. I live in Arizona and each and every video you put out makes me want to visit you for a round of golf at one of those unbelievable coarses. You my friend tell a wonderful story. Please keep them coming.
Thanks so much, I hope you make it over one day and play some of these amazing courses
I live in the States but, have always liked the Open of all the Majors. I get up early to watch it every year and to watch this vlog about the history of Prestwick and to see it this way was very special. Thank you.
That's awesome!
I would say every golfer needs to experience this. What a place and what history!
I would agree
All I can think to say is “wow!” Truly amazing stories and venue
Appreciated
Andy - This film is outstanding. From the story, to the story telling, to the videos of Prestwick, to the history told, to the music this was video I thoroughly enjoyed. Your productions are above and beyond. Well done mate
Thanks so much
Best video done by The Average Golfer. I got goosebumps. If I get to choose only one thing on my "Bucket List", playing Prestwick will be it.
Went around there once. Thanks for the memories revived.
Glad you enjoyed Cameron
Fantastic! Just back from the driving range, made myself a g&t and settled in to watch this video. Magnificent! Thank you.
Sounds like a good night
Having only started Golfing properly this year I've watched alot of UA-cam. I have to say that your channel is right up there with the very best of them and you have got it absolutely spot on. Fantastic Filming as always Andy. Well done👌👋👋
Andy what a life you have. To play these old courses in Scotland. I hope to play in Scotland some day as my dad was born in Edinburgh.I live in Canada. Playing St. Andrews would be on my bucket list.
This is an amazing video. I played Prestwick last week for the first time and loved it.... the history and the course are equally matched by the welcome I received from all the member, caddie master, pro shop and restaurant.... a must play and a must return!
It really is a very welcoming club
Thank you for this video.and the great memories that come flooding back to me .In the 1980's . My late friend and I won the Ayrshire doubles at Old Prestwick..
Glad you enjoyed it and gave you some great memories of your victory
Brilliant cinematographic Video, subdued, informative, almost mythical in style, congratulations to you Andy and all in the Team involved. Keep it coming
Andy - top marks on producing this amazing video. I'm starting to get the golf bug back after more than 15 years away from the game and that has understandably led to me watching hundreds of YT golf videos over the last few months. Much as I like a lot of the channels and videos that cover gear reviews and playing tips (including your own), they can tend to get a bit 'same-y'. I love the variety and super-professional (but still down-to-earth) quality of the content you create, and when that involves filming your way around spectacular golf courses such as 'Old Prestwick' and Bruntsfield Links, then all the better, and definitely gets a huge thumbs up from me....... Well done !
Always an honour to play those links. Lunch in the clubhouse after is an experience in itself. Thanks for featuring The Red Lion, we’re proud of the part we play in golf’s history.
Yes I did manage a visit whilst I was up there!
Andy, big fan of what you’re doing with the UA-cam content at the moment, it’s different from the others UA-camrs who I’m sure we all follow too, but it’s great to see the history of the game being spoken about. Refreshing change from talking about Brooks vs Bryson. 👍🏻
I appreciate that!
Grew up in Prestwick. Thank you for this amazing video now live in the US, so thanks this made me think of many fun times growing up in Prestwick.
Lovely mix of golf and history again Andy.
Thank you David
Fantastic Andy. Your cinematography, editing, music and presentation are tv quality. Streets ahead of any other golf channel. Preswick looks amazing, I imagine it would be hell when the winds blowing. You played on a very rare Scottish day.
Thanks for such nice feedback Brian
Andy, this has to be the best video you have shot to date, total Class from start to finish. Prestwick has now gone to the very top of my Bucket List. Keep up the good work.
Appreciate these comments Andy, Prestwick is a must visit
Fantastic & atmospheric filming...encapsulated the history of the early days of this Fantastic sport.
Cheers
what a fantastic video, thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish, as an Ayrshire golfer myself it gives me a great sense of pride, and realisation of how lucky we are to have so many wonderful golf courses on our doorstep. thank you for posting, keep up the good work

Another tremendous video in a tremendous series
Thank you Rob
Simply wonderful! No doubt a joy for you to make and certainly for us viewers to see. Great script too Andy!
That was one of the best things i have ever watched. If you are a lover of golf and indeed the Open, this is a place worth the visit. Brilliant.
Enjoy all of your videos but this is in the top five. Thanks for a wonderful trip back through golf history. Well done and keep up the great work.
Thanks 👍
Thank you Andy for this beautifully shot and narrated piece of work. It serves to remind us that we are mere custodians of our wonderful game and the current decision makers may well benefit from thinking what the forefathers would think? Change is not necessarily a bad thing, far from it, but just maybe things can be learned from the past.
Fantastic words Sam
Well done!!!!!!! Such a beautiful tribute to this wonderful, quirky, historic course and club.
Many thanks!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 fantastic work. What a course.
Much appreciated!
Andy,
After watching this video I had to sit and let it sink in for a minute and the first word that came to my mind was Iconic! The Birth Place of "The Open Championship" which ranks as a tie with "The Masters" for my favorite tournament to watch each year as the venues for both are not tricked up with ankle to shin deep rough and baked out fairways and greens but are played as they would be any other day for any golfer! Juzt absolutely Loving these course vlogs sir!
The history of golf is truly amazing John
Brilliant video Andy, quite superb mix of golf , chat and camera work ! Thank you so much !
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video, will be a bucket list trip to visit one day!
Thanks, You should!
What an honor and a privilege it would be to visit the club and to play at Prestwick. The storytelling and the video work are top notch as always Andy. The best on UA-cam. The history of this wonderful game and the men that started it and laid the foundation for all to come is the reason it has endured all these years.
Lovely feedback
Production quality is first class. Great video.
Much appreciated!
I had the privilege on playing Prestwick in 2006. What a great golf course full of history. You can feel the presence of Old Tom around you on this hollowed ground. Still gives me chills to think of it. Great video brought back such great memories.

Goosebumps, brilliant Andy I played Musselburgh another early open venue and felt I was under scrutiny of the forefathers of our game everyone should play it gave me an unimaginable thrill.
I know that feeling
Another brilliant video. Really enjoy your course content and it helped inspire a choice to play another course from an early vid. Thank you.

Great video. Really enjoyed the clubhouse chat - real history. I have never seen a bunker like that one on the 17th.

Thanks for watching
This was beautifully filmed. Superb stuff.
Many thanks!
Great video so inspiring and beautifully made 🏌️
Thanks so much!
Andy, I criticised one of your videos a couple of years ago. You click baited PXG as the king of cast or something like that.
Well now I am humbled by the quality of this video. I agree with most of the other comments on this thread. You are doing great things on UA-cam. This is the best golf related video I have seen on this media. Congratulations at a very very must watch production. Just magical.
The irony is that in my opinion the 'clickbait' you refer to is just as, if not more prevalent in this title. The title of this should be 'The Elysian Fields' but if I were to have done that it would have received very little interest. Unfortunately, UA-cam is driven by what you call clickbait but what I refer to as tabloid headlines, it is very sad but true reflection of how this 'game' works.
In terms of this video, I am glad you have enjoyed it.
Great video Andy and outstanding work you do keep it up mate cheers
Thanks, will do!
Cracking vlog , beautifully made 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent, quality vlog, as always Andy 💪💪💪💪💪🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
